Kaila watched as the new pup played with a ball of moss, and it saddened her a little bit because she knew Itaya wouldn't be able to remember doing such things when she would get older. But she wish she would so she had good things to look back on before her life got harder. "Whats going on?" She heard someone mutter behind her, a dark colored female. "I, have no idea, I think my parents are just trying to get us on a new schedule." The dark females shrugged and turned her attention to Kenji, who was now walking up the high rock, along with a wolf from the hunting party, she could smell the woods and Kiraki doe on his pelt. But no blood.

Kenji smiled ackwardly as he ran over ways to tell the pack, and how to keep them from over reacting, even though he could feel the panic already. "I..have terribale news." He said towards the pack, head raised up high. "The Devil's Bull has been killed by a unknown wolf, not one from our territory," The pack's eyes widened, and the older members began wailing to the sky in tongues, and that part kind of scared him. "And the Alphas..have been found dead fro unknown reasons. The Healer will look into it but so far there is no cause." Speaking about his parents death as if it was a rain check made his heart clench and their voices ring into his head. Kenji looked around to see his sister hiding her face under her paws, and he longingly looked at her, wanting to know her expression. "Kaila will be the Alpha female, with the Alpha male of her choice, that will be decided later on, and I will remain my place as Beta." Kaila's body clenched, she was not ready for this and he knew it, but there was no stopping tradition.

Faye is right, if you are apart of the pack then you should go to the pack meeting, I'll post just to keep things going and to make sure this conversation doesn't interupt the actual RP.



Kaila's eyes grew wide as Kenji's words hit her, and instantly she felt her eyes begin to sting badly. "I-I..I'm not-" She covered her face with her paws, making sure no one saw her tears because that would only cause more panic. Her shoulders shook slightly as she barely managed to contain her emotions. I'm the leader now, I must be strong for my pack.The young female stood, her legs wobbly beneath her but her head high as she made her way to the high rock. "The funeral will be held at sunset at Mist Falls, my parents will be missed dearly but we must continue our daily work." She watched Kenji walk towards a female and whisper something, his jaw tense as ever, he got that from their father. "Since the hunting party didn't catch anything, a second one will be sent out in a hour or so." She nodded and jumped off the rock, her paws landing a little unsurely on the grass.

Kenji watched his sister make her way up to high rock, her eyes a little wide and her gait shaky. But before he could wish her luck a she-wolf with light colored eyes walked up to him. "What happened?" He thought he was done, but he had to say it again, which caused him more pain. "Th-The Devil's Bull has been killed by a loner wolf, and the alphas were found dead this morning." Kenji's ears were flat against his head.

Kenji was a little startled by Almimah's sudden appearance but silently thanked her at the same time. "I.." His mouth felt stiff, tongue thick. Words seemed to lodge in hs throat and it fustrated him, but if not talking kept the tears back then he would have to do so. [/color]
