Oooo! I just can't start staring at the adorable little pup who's pestering Wasp. xD He/She's too precious. <3 Who is the shy pup hiding behind Tessie? Whenever you post the second litter, I shall definitely enter. ;3

Nooo!... Oh well, I guess that's how it goes. x3 Your welcome. C; I've actually fallen in love with Gypsy Moth. I want to submit an entry for her, but I do have a few questions first...
- First, is Gypsy related to any Balto/Steele/Jenna/etc. family tree already?
- What would be the general range of when she's born and "exists"?
- I will try to pm you, but I'm interested in more references for Gypsy Moth if I may.

Personality: Cici was appropriately named. How?
This. girl. will. NOT. shut up. She LOVES to talk, and talk and talk. She can strike up a conversation with anybody and everybody! Cici is very inclusive of everyone, and always make sure each sibling, friend, relative, whatever..gets their "daily chat".
She can go on and on talking about everything under the sun or just plain drivel! (she's not picky.) Usually she's pretty loud and noisy (again, Like a cicada) She makes her opinions clear in any situation, and she often makes the mistake of not thinking before she says something. Cici isn't too quick on the draw when she's in situations where she should shut up...

But, really she means well,she is actually pretty nice once you get her to shut up and listen to you talk.
While she can remain hidden in a game of hide and seek (like Cicadas when they are underground), she just CANNOT stand silence. She's always whispering about something or talking to herself or commenting on something. If something isn't exciting enough for her, she puts on her tough girl side and tends to wander off. However, socially,Cici wants to fit in with everybody, she goes from girly to putting on a tomboyish act.
Her talkativeness stems from a fear deep down..(explained in how she feels about her mom's condition)

She doesn't tend to listen and forms her own opinions on just about anything (for example: Her opinion of her father)
Cici tends to prefer getting her way, she isnt very diplomatic or manipulative though..If smiling and looking cute doesn't work,she tends to whine or beg for the most part.
She forms opinions almost straight away if she doesn't like you, sometimes before even getting to know people.
Cici likes to be the "life of the party" so to speak, she is good at telling stories..which she usually exaggerates.. xD While she can be blunt and oblivious in her opinions, she doooooees tend to fib a little, she doesn't like getting caught when she does something out of line.
Always loves to be surrounded by noise, she will go the forest, just to listen to the birds and bugs, the rustles, the squeaks..everything.
She also likes to go to town and bark at other dogs, and listen to people talk as well.
Cici is an eccentric soul, she loves to collect things and has a weird liking for bugs. She likes to follow them, nose at them, flip them over, bark at them, watch them, etc. Often she will catch one and bring it back to the family to show them, causing some havoc....
When she gets older, she becomes a sucker for the typical ” handsome prince” fairytale type guy (this was probably through some influence from being around Saffron)
She isnt very discerning however, and tends to flit back and forth whenever she sees someone she thinks is cute.




History:
Tessie was forced to bear Gumbo's children. As her stomache grew she hated her children and Gumbo more and more. When Tessie finally had the pups all that hate vanished. She still lashed out at Gumbo though. Afraid that he would spoil the happiness that she had found within their children.
Their first litter grew up listening to their parents argue and fearing both of them at times. When Gumbo offered Tessie the right to leave she stayed. The pups were shocked, especially when they noticed the fighting had stopped. The pups watched their parents fall in love.
The second litter born, leaving mixed feelings about within the first litter. Winter came soon afterwards and the family found themselves playing in the snow. Slugger, then climbed out onto the ice. Gumbo raced after the pup fearing that he would fall through the early winter's first freeze. The ice began to crack and Gumbo saved Slugger but a moment after Gumbo fell through. He escaped from the ice and ran back to shore.
Tessie tried everything she could to keep Gumbo warm that night but in the morning Gumbo was frozen and dead. Tessie went a little nuts after losing her mate. She had relied on him heavily, and now he was gone. Tessie had never been to town by herself before and she was too proud to ask anyone but her mate for help.
Nobody would've helped her anyway. Everyone in Nome found the female to be odd. Cricket stepped up to help her mom and was thanked every day for it. Weevil abandoned her family in hopes of keeping herself out of the turmoil. Wasp stayed with the family, feeling that he was now the man.

History (continued):
For a while,Cici remained with what was left of her family, always trying to stay positive, and babbling along to keep everyone distracted. The only problem is that she was being more annoying with her incessant babbling, rather than helpful.
Eventually, it was encouraged that she just go, and the remaining shambles of a "family" could get some peace and quiet for once.
In her eccentric way, Cici decided to follow a trail of ants, which happened to stretch in the direction of town. She kept following them until she bumped nose to nose with another curious young dog.
Immediately , she struck up a conversation, and explained her situation. The two got along well, and she found out his name was Bear.
They had many things in common, playful, talkative, and very very curious.
Cici felt understood for once in her life......
Almost immediately she labeled him a best friend.
He introduced her to his friends, and Cici found her niche with them, mostly hanging out with Saffron, the girly-but-somewhat-reasonable- female.
Her relationship with Saffron at that point tended to...ironically, be more of a follower. She was so eager to fit in with this group, that she went along with whatever Saffy did...this became apparent unfortunately soon.
Not long after she met the group, there was a big row between Saffron and the quiet female, Bee. Rumors had surfaced about Bee and Bear being a couple. Saffron was furious, and Cici was secretly crushed on the inside.....(even though she didnt REALLY know the half of it...)
If Saffron was going to shun Bee, well Cici would too!
But deep down, something kept telling Cici this was wrong. Everytime she passed her, Bee looked genuinely hurt, but never did anything mean back.
She stubbornly refused to acknowledge the little voice.
It wasn't until Bear brought this up in a questionable tone (and asked her why she was treating his good friend that way), that Cici felt flustered....

"He knows..." she thought..

Blushing furiously, she babbled out the whole story. Bear looked surprised, and after a rare moment's pause, he told her what REALLY happened.

Rumors after all, are just a pack of lies. and you shouldn't believe everything you hear.

Cici felt embarrassed for judging "his girlfriend" (which she referred to mentally, in a sarcastic tone) and decided to (grudgingly) go find her and apologize.

She did just that. She stammered and stuttered her way through, being thoroughly embarrassed and humiliated for having to apologize to THAT girl. The girl who had taken the affections of HER love.
But she bit her lip, and decided she would "do this for Bear."

"I'm...sorry..for everything..." she said slowly.

Bee smiled at her and said "alright. Thank you."

"No wonder he likes her.." thought Cici.."She's an angel...she's practically perfect!"

The guilt of the whole thing still weighed heavily on Cici's heart. She still dislikes Bee, but now it's more of.. "I'll-tolerate-you-because-you-are-too-nice."

Cicada still tries to be her talkative usual self, and usually hangs around Bear, or helps Bear take care of Athena, when "THAT GIRL" isn't around ;3 And when she is...Cici usually gets pretty competitive for him...


Future:
Cici will still have a huge crush on Bear, but I'd like to find another few boys for her to coo over :3 I think she'll (ironically) be taken in by Bee's and Athena's owners, but she'll still keep in touch with her family, as they are a proper concern to her (next to boys of course ^^)

I'll probably come up with a more detailed future, if I get her..it takes me a while to think of things like these xD



What does he/she think of their Mother's current state?:

Deep down, Cici is afraid of her mother's mental state....but she'll never tell anyone that. In her mind, she thinks if she keeps talking to her mother, she'll be too distracted to mull over her mate's death. She really wants to be supportive, but she is also too young grasp the situation fully. Cici wants her mother to try to let go,but that's much harder than she thinks. However she doesn't want her mother to find anther male. Because, secretly she wonders about the arguments she was told about by her older siblings, she doesn't want that to happen again...

What is his/her opinion of their father?/of his/her father's death?: (Keep in mind that they didn't know their father very well at all. So all they ever heard about their father was what Weevil or Wasp told them)

Welll...even though she didn't know him fully...what she remembers most about him..was when he slipped through the ice to save Slugger. Cici feels that he must have been a noble, brave father, despite what people might tell her, she wont believe it. Observing her mother's condition after he died..Cici reasons...why else would she be so distressed? He must have been a good dog!
She is not at all happy about the loss of her father, because Wasp is now "the man." She finds Wasp too bossy, and tends to be mouthy, and sassy towards him.


How does he/she feel about Weevil leaving?:

Cici:" D8 There goes another person I could talk to!"
Cici is always disappointed to lose people in the family, she fears that everyone will soon leave and she will be alone. She embraces the ideals of a "big happy family." Cici hopes to run into her sister, and dreams of talking her back, then everyone could be together again!


How does he/she feel about Cricket caring for them/ what do they think of her muteness?:
Well.....it's a bit awkward.... Cici loves to talk to her sister, but she likes to have verbal responses at some point..Sometimes the ditzy thing forgets that her sister CANT TALK.
Cici DOES appreciate what her sister does for her family, she just wishes she could talk to her in normal conversation. However, she finds her sister the nicest in the family.

Bear:She, like many girls, has a crush on him, and thinks of him as perfect for her. However, once she sees another handsome boy, she flits from one to another.

Saffron - These two get along well together, the only time they clash is over Bear. The two of them are his biggest "fans" and usually get in scraps over him. (and meanwhile he slips away xD)

Personality: Moth has always been a very quiet puppy, as she didn’t like the way she studdered. She would often just nod or try to explain anything in actions which is hard to get by on. She gets nervous easy, but tries to hide it to not seem weak. She has a very high prey drive and can be in mid sentence when she spots and chases something, sadly often finds her self a little to big to catch it, fearless when in the run she would do anything to try to catch something. Once she gets going she is a bit hard to bring back down to a normal state of mind, but she does control her enegry well at most times. Moth loves to play, mostly outside. She hates to be indoors most of the time.

History (continued): Moth was never close to her family with Wasp teasing her and her mother in a state of depression. She’d often hang out with her sister that where her age. She doesn’t like how Cricket can’t talk, even if Moth herself avoids it. She got extreamly close with her sister Arachnia, and started to believe all of her odd conspiracy theories she could think of. When Arachnia left her family to be with humans, Moth couldn’t see her go so she left with her.

The town of Nome was scary to Moth everything seemed so big and humans where coming up to try to pet her. She ducted into a alley out of fright and lost Ara in the process. She stayed there in hiding hoping Ara would come and find her, or someone who could help her. The night alone scared her, it was dark and cold she regretted running away from her family and wanted nothing more for it all to be a dream. Early morning before the town life began, she was spotted by a older dog. The dog was very light, and picked Moth up and carried her off, Moth was too exhausted to fight her off so slept as she was being carried.

She woke up surrounded by dogs in a small building. Amongst the pile of dogs there was a young human boy snuggled up to a young blue female. She found the white dog beside her, and she snuggled into her fur and just looked around, the white female made her feel safe even if she didn’t know her name. Soon the rest of the dog’s day begun, most of them didn’t notice Moth there, and most of the left after waking up. The white dog introduced herself as Talite and explained what was happening and who everyone was.
The human boy was excited to have a new dog, and loved even more that she was so young. She found out that the dogs work with the boy to live, while the group who left was Nicole and her group of pit bulls, they fought for themselves, and just used the shed they all lived in for shelter, they never really ‘belonged’ to the boy. The dog that was with the boy was Mitch, she was his original pet and loved him seemingly the most, Talite was new to them but she fit in as soon as she spotted the homeless boy.

Moth decided she would live with them all, and help where she could. Talite becomes like her mother, while Mitch more of a sister figure. Mitch’s Sister Nicole slowly got herself and her friends on their feet and started to break away from the family, only showing up every so often. The boy was starting to go off and talking to other humans.

He came back one evening is a hurry, he was excited to tell his dogs that a pilot offered to take them to another country, which he understood to be America (the pilot has a very heavy accent, and spoke in broken English.[By America I mean more New York; big city.]) So a few days he loaded Mitch, Talite and Moth into the cargo of a large plane, and they flew for hours.

Sadly, they didn’t end up where they wanted to be. They ended up in Spain, the pilot left them alone not wanted the baggage of the child. They were lost didn’t know the city or the language. Luckily they ran into an English teacher and she took them to her home. She was unsure of how the Alaskan boy came or why he did. But she was happy to have him in her home unable to have children herself. She adopted him and his dogs after a few months and taught him how to speak Spanish.

The Talite and Moth where told they had to stay outside, as Mitch was the one the boy was closest too and the women didn’t want her male dog to have the chance to breed with 3 female dogs if left untended. Moth has barely even seen the male, but what she has she thinks he may be prince charming.

What does he/she think of their Mother's current state?: Moth finds the change in her mother awful, but she does not pity her mother. She wishes she could get over the hump of sadness her mother is in to raise her children and meet someone new.

What is his/her opinion of their father?/of his/her father's death?: Moth really wishes she could of met her dear old dad, she thinks they would have been close she doesn’t listen to her older siblings she thinks he would be an awesome dad.

How does he/she feel about Weevil leaving?: To lose a family member is hard, and Weevil leaving was a shock to Moth and left her heart broken for a bit. She was never close to Weevil so recovery was simple.

How does he/she feel about Cricket caring for them/ what do they think of her muteness?: Moth tries not to speak to much herself, but she doesn’t like how Cricket can’t talk at all. She finds it hard to communicate with her and finds because she can’t talk she is a unfit mother figure, but a fine sister.

Crush?/Mate?: Rafael, the women’s dog.

Other: Moth is renamed Tonia to blend in more, not with a very English name, Moth is more of an affectionate nickname to her now.

She was deeply upset over her fathers death, but spent most of her time trying to comfort anyone else who was grieving, rather then grieve herself. When she noticed how her mother seemed a bit broken after her father's death (even though Cici herself didn't know him too well) she tried her best to cheer up her mother. When she gets old enough, she tries to take trips into town with Cricket, enjoying the feeling that she could actually be of use.

She doesn't understand why a few guys will stare at her and is much too innocent to know they're attracted to her. She is also much to modest to admit that she's pretty. One one particular trip into town she comes in contact with a tall dog that's being chased by the butcher (the dog had stolen some meat from his shop). Cici accidentally got caught up in the chase and had to follow the thief to escape the butcher and his wrath. The thief led her to safety in an old warehouse, though while he was laughing about the whole ordeal, she was a nervous wreck, knowing she should be getting home soon.

The male introducing himself as being Carson, the greatest thief around. Cici doesn't like how proud he seems to be of his title, and when he asks her her name she becomes silent. After a few moments of persisting she tells him and he offers to share the meat he store with her. She refuses the offer and tells him she has to go home.

When Cici gets home, she pretends like nothing ever happened. But on her next trip to town, Carson appears next to hear and begins talking to her like they were long time friends. Cici thinks he's crazy and has told him so, but he insists "I'm crazy, and your pretty, we'd be great friends." After awhile of the 'awkward' conversations with Carson, Cici does start to see him as a friend and the two become very close friends at that.

What does he/she think of their Mother's current state?: She feels terrible that she can't seem to do anything to make her mother feel better. She wishes she knew her father more, so she could understand fully how her mother felt, in attempts to help her feel better in any way.

What is his/her opinion of their father?/of his/her father's death?: (Keep in mind that they didn't know their father very well at all. So all they ever heard about their father was what Weevil or Wasp told them) Though she has few memories of her father when she was a young pup, she does long to know him and wishes the tragedy had never happened. She isn't sure what to think of Gumbo though, because she hears so many opinions about him. She refuses to judge him based on what others say and determines that after awhile of her listening to and understand stories she's heard about her father, then, and only then, will she give her own opinion of him.

How does he/she feel about Weevil leaving?: She thinks it was a terrible idea, and feels Weevil really should have stayed with the family, as their mother needed all of their help. Though she disagrees with Weevil's choice, Cici will always love her, because that is her sister.

How does he/she feel about Cricket caring for them/ what do they think of her muteness?: Cici loves Cricket dearly, and though she wishes to hear her sister speak, she feels her sister is very kind to help their mother in her time of need. She is always ready to help Cricket with whatever she needs and will do her best to help her with the family or going into town for things.

Crush?/Mate?: she has a thing for her friend Carson

Other: She'll later acquire a pretty blue bandana Carson gives her.
