Rita nodded. "Do you think the rest of the house is worth checking out as well?"

"I think we should just take a quick look around, but we dont have to take forever."she said not really wanting to do it at all.

Rita nodded. "You take the den...I'll do the kitchen. That alright?"

"okay" Sparrow said as she walked into the den. She looked around on the ground, nothing. She looked at the coffe table, no--. She looked a little closer, there was a bloody hand print that almost blendid in with the rest of the dark wooded coffe table. 'Huh' she thought to herself, taking a sample of the blood.

Rita slowly walked into the kitchen, her keen eyes absorbing most details. For example, the fridge was slightly ajar. That could very well be a coincidence, and since so many hands touched it throughout the day, it wasn't worth dusting for prints. She did notice a more grimy handprint on the window...as if someone had been looking in. She walked over to it, and unlocked it with a small click.

She slid it open, ignoring the creak. Rita examined the handprint critically; it was a man's, meaty by the looks of it. And callused. It was most definitely her partner. She gave a sort of smirk, taking a sample of it.

She closed the window, and walked to the den, where Sparrow should be. Before she left, she made her a cup of coffee using their coffee machine. A bit insensitive, perhaps. But from the looks of it, Sparrow needed the coffee. She was exhausted, and not entirely focused. When the mug was full, she brought it out to her friend.

"Thanks" sparrow said grabbing the cup. "So how cold do you thinkthis case is gonna be?" she asked before she took a sip of her coffe. She was thinking about telling Rita that it was wrong to use the victoms coffe maker for her benifit, but she was to tierd to truly care.

"Before answering the question; yes, using their coffee maker was a little insensitive," Rita admitted. "But you need to be alert if we're going to figure this out." She paused for a breath, then plunged into her reply.

"I'm not sure. I may have gotten a handprint sample, but I'm not positive. There's that, and the fabric sample. If you don't have anything else...well, this case may be a bit difficult to solve."

"All I got was some blood off the coffe table, but for all we know, its our victoms" she said shaking her head."What are we going to do Rita, this guy is good, and as far as we know, hes already outta state, we could be screwd on this case." Sparrow surprized Rita with that comment, she never had shown this much emotion about a case, or really about anything, nothing, untill now, ever seemed to phase Sparrow.
