OOC: Thanks for helping bring back the topic, guys. I may not be on here much (just warning you) but I'm glad that you care about the topic.

BIC: Gray and Treecko led the way to the north end of town, where the only entrance and exit to Littleroot Town was. "I still can't believe that the waiting list puts us that far down," he commented as he stepped through the gate dividing Littleroot Town and Route 52. "I wonder how far up each of us will go by the time we make it to Oldale Town." He pulled out his Pokenav and checked its map. "The Pokenav's map makes it look like we should be in Oldale Town by nightfall if we don't get severely sidetracked," he said. "Ready to go?"

"Of course!" Jay said, bouncing a little in her excitement. This was it; her Pokemon journey had finally begun. "Let's hit the road." Unable to stay still, she walked out of Littleroot Town, her new Mudkip following eagerly

OOC:
Route 101
Pokemon findable:
Zigzagoon Lvl. 2-3
Poochyena Lvl. 2-3
Wurmple Lvl. 2-3
This route is short enough that each character may level up his/her starter and also catch up to one Pokemon.
(I call a female Poochyena. If you wish to use a Pokemon in your final team, you can't copy other teams. I have, so far, called Treecko's forms and Poochyena's forms.)

BIC: Gray, too excited to wait for the gate, vaulted over the fence that led to Route 52. As he landed, he noticed how peaceful the route was. He smiled, and saw that Treecko was smiling too.
Unfortunately, his peace did not last long. A Zigzagoon and two Poochyenas sprang from the tall grass, snarling at him.

OOC: WILD ENCOUNTER!
(1)Level 2 Poochyena: Tackle
(2)Level 3 Poochyena: Tackle
(3)Level 3 Zigzagoon: Tackle, Growl
Turn order is: WP2, Gray, WP1, Jay, WP3, Chase. I shall handle my part, plus the Wild Pokemon. (I shall capture WP2! Does anyone else want to capture one of these Pokemon?)

Ooc:// I'll take Zigzagoon. ^^

Taken by surprise, Jay jumped a little. Then Mudkip stepped forward, a determined look on its face. A small smile formed. "Alright, let's battle," she agreed, mentally preparing. The Zigzagoon caught her eye, and she fingered a Pokeball hopefully. "Mudkip, Tackle!"

Ooc:// Blegh, writers' block. That's what I get for posting at midnight. >.>

The Poochyena in the middle of the group snarled at Gray, diving at Treecko and tackling it with a cry of "Yena, Poochyena yena!"

"Treecko, Pound it back!" Gray cried quickly. Treecko spun around, battering the Poochyena with a well-placed strike of her tail.

The other Poochyena and Mudkip headbutted each other in a clash of Tackles. Meanwhile, the Zigzagoon dashed for Torchic, Tackling it, too.

OOC: Your turn, Chase. (Don't forget that Jay has that Zigzagoon, or that I have the stronger Poochyena!)

"Mudkip, Tackle!" Mudkip flew forward, Jay's eyes glinting in excitement as she watched the battle. The Poochyena flew backward into Torchic, yelping. With two Pokemon attacking, Jay decided to help the fire-Pokemon out. "Mudkip, Tackle on Zigzagoon," she said. Mudkip obeyed, and Zigzagoon turned to face her.
