"You have to be nice to me! Like...be my mother!" The girl quickly said, trying her best to explain what she meant in one go. She was scared now.

The girl growled a little when Babs laughed at her. The girl had a fairly good comeback, but since Babs had nearly messed up her insides, she kept it to herself.

"Whatever."She only said, offended.

Then a idea came to her, "If you really don't want to be my 'mummy dearest' though, I'm sure you can make do by, yourself. " The girl grinned. She walked beside Babs, with that smug look. She had to look up to met Bab's eyes, but she had quickly figured out that Babs needed her someway, and that she was a rare deal.

"So, mummy what are you gonna do?" Her voice still sounded young, at best she was 11.
"Extra points for cunning."Question mumbled to Babs. She nudged the girl, so that she was no more than a inch or two from Babs, in case she decided to make a run for it. Question could hear Gotham's finest doing some gang-bust nearby. "Finish it up here you two." she added quickly.

"...fine." She said. She eyed Bab's hand though. She didn't know of the shake term, but she put her hand in Bab's hand, she seemed to think Babs would try to rip her hand off or something. She thought Babs had wanted to hold her hand or somethin'. She had somewhat small hands, compared to Babs. The girl wanted to speak the first thing that came to mind, but maybe that would be for a later time.

"And no, unless 'Girl' and other harsh words count." She added shortly after Babs asked the last bit.

"Ahh..." The young girl made that sound when Babs roughly shook her hand.

"Sheltered?" The girl tilted her head. Her eye mask covered her eyes, but if you could see it, her eyes would be showing "confused."
"what do you mean by that?"

"No, I was never under a rock. I was under a roof. Duuuuh." The girl felt like she knew more, so she stuck her tounge out at Babs. Because she didn't understand what a metaphor was.

"Hmpf." The girl grumbled.

"I want a name." The girl said in a somewhat demanding manner.
