Listen Up Everyone

Answer to Question 1:

As samborghini just said, Simba and Nala had a son called Kopa before Kiara. He was the baby cub at the end of the first:

~ Kopa

~ Kiara

see the difference? (sorry I couldn't find better pics)

sorry, I can't answer Q2. Simba's just a big Prick and Thicko. I loved him in the first...don't like him in the second

True they look different but Disney will tell you now the cub there is Kiara. Kopa is canon for tlk6na only, he has little to do with the films IMO.

The noses of the 2 lion cubs are completely different,I now see that they can't be the same cub.

I know SF. So is their fur colour, faces...I'm almost certain the cub in Pic.1 is Kopa :wink:

Yeah, I agree

But Simba can't be so bloody over-protective because he loves Kiara

Sarabi nor Mufasa were like that with Simba...so why should Simba be that way about Kiara???

I'm sticking with my view. Simba and Nala had a son before Kiara, called Kopa who died. THAT'S why Simba's so over-protective :wink:

So true, so true.

I still believe Kopa exists . . . somehow.

Factoid: In TLK books made before TLK2, the cub was male (AKA pre-1997/1998 when TLK:SP was released); now many of them have changed to acknowledge Kiara as that cub from the ending, thus leading to the opening sequence of TLK:SP, but a few books (Like a coloring book that I have) retained the male cub (Kopa), but not too many of them.

Even if you don't accept that the cub at the end of TLK is now Kiara, the cub's name is 'Fluffy' rather than Kopa.

Attaching Kopa to the film is a fandamish thing and hardly official

It makes some good fanfic ideas though.

Not really. The books were approved by Disney. The script writers for sure didn't write tlk6na, they probably didn't even know about them. In the early stages of SP, Simba and Nala's son was called Chaka.
