I think the site has waaaaay too many blank renders, people are just too lazy to make their own!! Rendering an base making isn't that hard, it just requires the TINIEST amount of effort, and even then people are too lazy to make their own. I mean, some people can't even make Decent renders! D: That's pathetic.

Though, i don't think that renders should not be allowed on the site, because some people *coughmecough* do not know how to make graphics, or are not interested in them,or the do not have the programs to do them. I don't think graphics are that great, and i think that they should still be onthe site though.

I think we should all just do creative renders (such as drawing then coloring it, then posting it on a bs background) like arty render things. But all together, yes, i do think there are WAAAYYYY too many blank renders and linearts and blehh... SO much of that crap.

On the note of renders counting as stealing, according to DA, making graphics is stealing too if you don't have written permission :/ Which sucks if some fussy mini-mod is constantly on your back (happened to me more than once :c)

And if you think about it, they have a point in a way I suppose. Think about it. If you made a drawing, you wouldn't be overly pleased if people stuck a load of effects on it and took credit for it, am I right?

Maybe it's just me who thinks this, I don't know. Just don't flame me for posting this. I have nothing against graphics and love to make them myself, but if you think about it, it could techinically count as theft to make graphics too.

I also find it strange how vectors haven't come up in this topic yet. They're pretty much renders but without lines, but no one says thats stealing for some reason...

Maybe because the vectors have been used to make graphics and so, they're counted like ones? =/ The only vectors I've seen were about Balto's official chars.

I've also only seen ones of official characters, but techinically it's still going over a screenshot and saying it's your own work, so surely it counts as the same as renders...aaaaargh this is confusing me xD I need more sleep >.<
