Kasha wasted no time, and began running. Due to her longer legs, and cat attributes, she was able to quickly gain a few cenimeters on the wood nymph, though she tried not to pass her by more. She spared a look back, hoping to see an elven figure behind them. Though she hadn't known Bell for long, her loyalty was not hard to earn today, though normally she was wary. It was a change she wasn't expecting, but was unable to do anything about.

Bell hear the wood nymph and was on her feet running. The two were well ahead of her but soon she was vearing in from the right side and running along side them, if even possible keeping even pace with the anthro. She did not smile nor speak to them all she could think of was saving the people at the water base. It was the children she knew would most likely be there that made her run harder. There was no need to lose innocent lives today.

Lyllii pursed her lips together, her brow creased in determination. "Not much farther to the village! From my sightings, we should reach it within five minutes," she called to her companions, her voice growing hoarse from yelling and the wisps of smoke that were inhaled.

She suddenly put in an extra burst of speed, out pacing the anthro, determined to reach the town before the smoke did. If the townsfolk could smell or see the smoke, it would be too late for them to evacuate safely. One thing concerned the nymph; would the Water peoples believe the three rouges?

Kasha wasn't owrried about whether they would be believed or not, she was only worried about getting there. Despite the thin protection the leaf offered, she was still inhaling smoke, and the grey wisps were causing her to cough and gasp. Embers flew through the air, and one even landed on her tunic sleeve. Brushing it off, she ignored the small sting, hoping they would make it.

Bell nodded hearing the wood nymph speak once again. She too could dimmly see the town through the smoke. 'But surely they would be able to see the smoke from a distance?' She thought to herself. She picked up the pace as Lylli raced ahead.

The trio reached the outskirts of the town. Good, thought Lyllii. We may have just enough time. The forest outside was strangely quiet, as if anticipating the coming flames. She paused for a moment to allow herself and her companions to drink in the clean air before they warned the townsfolk.

"Alright. We might as well get this over with," she murmured, bracing herself for the staring eyes that always tracked her when she entered civilization.

Lyllii entered the town, looking for a face friendly enough to ask for information. An old woman caught her eye. "Excuse me, but we need to discuss something with your mayor. It's important."

The woman turned, eyes widened, and suddenly cackled with laughter before continuing on her way.

"Why did she laugh like that? It sounded....sinister," Kasha said, tensing almost immediatly. Her brain cleared as she breathed in the fresh air, and she had to focus hard to repress the urge to unsheath her staff. "I may just be paranoid, though," she added after a moment, though the apprehension in her voice still remained. It was a likely possibility though. After becoming an outcast, she was often paranoid, made even more so when in a city.

Lyllii raised an eyebrow. "You too? Huh. I guess there's no telling, with two paranoid females, eh?" she replied, making a poor attempt at a joke. "But really. Something suspicious is deffinately going on here. Maybe Bell would have better luck..."

"We need to find the mayor, though. Maybe they'll listen to someone who has authority," Kasha reminded the nymph. "I would start with those buildings over there. They look larger than the other ones," she noticed, pointing them out with one paw. Her claws were out again, and she hastily sheathed them, not wanting anyone to think she was threatening them.

Lyllii grunted in reply. The trio of misfits quickly jogged over to the more expensive looking houses, but the houses looked deserted. "Okay, now I'm becoming suspicious. Hmm... there are some signs over there. Maybe they'll direct us to the mayor?" she suggested.

The nymph stared hard at the signs, but the runes engraved onto the wooden slats were a meaningless jumble to her. "Eheheheh... apparently I can't read them..." she stated, too embarassed to admit that she was illiterate.

Kasha wasn't very skilled when it came to reading and writing herself, but she did know the basics, which suited her fine. "I don't think it says anything about where the mayor's house might be...but then again, I may be wrong." She gave a sheepish smile. "Not exactly the best reader and writer around, you know?" She turned to look at the elven female. "Bell, can you make it out better than I can?"

Gender: Male
Name: Aaron
Gender: Male
Race: Weredragon (Fire)
Age: 17 Years when human
Apperance: Human//Dragon
Personal History: His parents were taken hostage when he was very young, but he does not remember much about the incident. Because of this, if you betray his trust even the slightest bit, or try and hurt anyone he considers his friend, you'll be in serious danger. Besides that, though, he's fun loving and not one to go head on into someone without a reason.
Weapon of Choice: When he is in human form, he carries around a machete which he's very skilled at using since he's had it ever since his parents were taken. It looks like this.
Weakness: If someone acts like his friend, but is really a spy, he will trust them either way. His main weakness is he tends to trust people way to much, a lot more than he should.
