Fen regarded him coolly, silence hovering in the air for a moment. "I wouldn't suggest threatening us," he said eventually, his normally calm voice harboring an edge of anger. It was barely audible, but enough to make the sentence threatening.

"Are they even going to fight?" Maya asked, confused. She stepped forward to back her friend, and now she could easily see more of the field. The only important thing however, was Fen and Dorian, who only seemed to be having a coversation, even if it did appear to be a heated one. She had come expecting a fight, and from the confused murmurs emanating from the crowd, she judged most of them had too.

The Slatina's words reached Maya's ears before Clair could answer. Immediatly, her anger bristled as she defended her friend. A low growl rumbled in her throat, and she clenched her fists, eyes narrowing. "I hope you're not talking to us," she said coldly.

Laia couldn't tell if they had began to fight or not. She doubted they had, judging from the disappointed and confused voices that murmured to their friends, the words buzzing in the air. The lack of snarls was a significant hint too. Her cheeks regained a bit of color as she considered the possibilty that they wouldn't fight.

'Why would I hope for that? A fight sounds exciting!" Alyss said, bouncing up and down slightly. Her excitement dimmed to disappointment as she only saw talking. "But they may talk it out anyways," she said slowly, face falling ever so slightly.

Hiro decided to stay out of this fight, but a small smile did form on his face. at the possibility that there may be a fight after all. Of course, he may end up participating in it, if it got out of hand, but a fight was a fight.

"You sure about that?' Aaron said, acting bemused and hurt. Of course, his acting was easily transparent.

"We're sure, scrawny boy," Katherine teased.

"And why would that be?" Dorian asked, smugly crossing his arms and smiling. He found an advantage in being the calm one, and restrained from showing much anger. He cocked his head at Fen, expecting an answer.

"Who else would I be talking to?" Haley said, her voice more annoyed than angry now. "Escpecailly since no one else here seems to have an ego problem." She turned back to face the field. "But I guess I shouldn't be talking to you since I'm so below your social status."

"Actually, you are," Clair said with a flip of her hair in the Avalon's direction.

Haley growled and made to lunge at Clair.

Jack emerged at the front just as the brunette lunged for Clair. He caught her shoulder, pulling her back in her place. "I wouldn't do that," he said cooly.

Griffin nodded at the seen. "I'm hoping for no fight today," he said just as he so commotion from the front of the crowd. He saw a blond Slatina grab Haley as she tried to go for another blond's throat. He sighed, but turned it into a growl half way through. "Or maybe there will be a fight." He pushed his way through the crowd, ready to punch those Slatinas.

Rose smiled and nodded shyly. "Yeah, sorry to be the ones to break the news to you."

"We might retaliate," Fen replied, his voice taking on an edge that would cause many others to shrink away from him in fear.

Maya glared at the Avalon, who had been pulled away by Jack. "I wouldn't suggest attacking if you value your health," she warned, tutting as if she were speaking to a young child. Her eyes narrowed in a warning.

Laia heard disappointed murmurs, and then angry voices, and the occasional low growl. She took a step backwards as a large, muscled guy shifted, almost ramming into her. I guess there might be a fight after all, she thought glumly.

Alyss followed Griffin, now slightly frustrated. She too, had seen Haley gabbed by the Slatina, and she narrowed her eyes. Her normally cheerful demeanor became angry instead.

Hiro watched silently, and with a slightly amused expression. If one fight wasn't happening, another would take it's place. He did tense, though it was subtle, more of a precaution if a packmate was actually threatened or losing.

Aaron put on a false, sad expression. It was soon replaced with his normal crooked grin. He stood on his toes suddenly, looking over a few people's heads. "I think another fight is going to start!" he said.

"What else is new?" Katherine muttered under her breath.

Dorian scuffed at Fen. "Are you expecting me to tuck my tail between my legs at that?" he asked with an eyebrow raised.

Clair smiled smugly at the Avalon wolf. "Thank you, Jack," she said sweetly.

Jack nodded at at Clair and Maya, releasing the Avalon girl as she pulled her arm out of his grip.

Griffin came between the Slatina wolves and Haley, glaring at them all. "What is going on here?" he asked with a growl.

Haley crossed her arms as she stood beside Griffin and Alyss.

Rose tried to look over heads but what too short. "Wait, who is it?"

Rina saw comotion coming from the crowd and realized that the real fight was going on among the other wolves. She snuck out from beneath the bleachers, trying to get a better view.

"It wouldn't surprise me," Fen said simply, a small shrug emphasizing his words.

"And who are you, to get into someone's business?" Maya asked, arching one brow. She stared at the Avalon lycan questioningly and in disbelief, as if it wasn't to be expected they would have the guts to even speak.

Laia rubbed her temples, her fingers moving in a circular motion in attempts to ease her sudden headache. A shove from her right took her by surprise, and she tumbled to the ground. A large, burly jock looked down.

"Sorry," he said, to surprised to say something 'witty'.

"It's fine," Laia muttered, standing up.

Alyss imitated the Slatina's expression, saying the message outloud as well. "I'm surprised you have the guts to speak, much less try to pick a fight. I mean, we are you're superiors."

Maya lunged towards the Avalon, taking her by surprise. "You did not just say that," she said through gritted teeth, driving a fist into her stomach.

"Umm, I think it's that Maya kid and what's her name...uh, Alyssa?" Aaron said, squinting as he stood on his toes, trying to see clearly.

"You mean Alyss," Katherine corrected.

"Yeah, that's it," Aaron said distractedly.

Hiro continued watching, amusement growing. And the fight begins, he thought.

Dorian held his growl at swallowed at the anger that welled up inside him from the comment. Who exactly did this Avalon Bitten think he was. "I'm surprise you even remembered my kind have tails," he replied, still on the verge of striking out at Fen. "After all, do your kind even count as loup-garou?"

Clair snarled at the Avalong wolf and would have tackled her to the ground if Maya hadn't beat her to it.

"Hey!" Griffin shouted at the Slatina wolf, grabbing her arm and pulling her back with such a force that he flung her to the ground. He stood in front of Alyss protectively. "Don't you touch her!"

Jack growled at the male Avalon and punched him square in the nose. "And don't you touch her!"

Haley slapped Jack across the face, using her nails to scatch across his cheeks, not saying anything and not even growling. The look on her face as enough to so how angry she was.

Rose flinched as the fists came out and blood was becoming visible. "That looks like one heck of a fight. Do either of you even know what they're fighting over?"

Rina jogged over to the commotion, blending in with the rest of the crowd as they made a circle around the fighting wolves and stopped paying attention to Dorina and Fen.

Fen simply stared at the angered lycan, his face remaining expressionless.

Maya lunged for Haley, growling furiously and rather loudly.

Laia heard the voices of her own friends in the groups of people that seemed closest to the fight...or in it. I hope the don't get hurt, she thought nervously.

Alyss leapt forward to help defend her friend. "Oh, you did not just do that!" she snarled, raising a paw to punch him in the gut. She swung it, hoping to make contact.

Hiro stepped back for the sake of his own protection.

Katherine shrugged. "No a clue," she said.

"All I know is this is one heck of a fight!" Aaron said, peering over heads.

Dorian glared at Fen, but the sound of snarling and growling reached his ears. He turned around to see what was going on, and realized that a full out fight was going on between the two packs.

Haley saw Maya lunge from the corner of her eye and braced her arms for the contact. When Maya hit her, she grabbed onto whatever she could, which happened to be a wrist and a hand full shirt at her waist.

Jack put a hand to his cheek, noticing a small amount of blood running down it. He heard Alyss and noticed just in time her fist coming for him. He managed to grab her forearm just as it hit him. He groaned as his stomach grew sore, but managed to hold on to her arm and yank it aside with no aim or goal.

Griffin shoved Jack to the ground when he saw him yank Alyss around like that. "Nice punch," he said to her.

Clair stormed over to Griffin and kicked him hard in the groin, causing him to fall to the ground. "Thats for shoving Maya," she said rather cooly, tucking a stray hair behind her ear.

Rose punched Aaron in the arm. She wasn't strong enough to really hurt him, but she tried. "Hey, thats not funny. What if someone gets hurt?"

Rina overheard a few humans talking about the fight and wondering what it was about. "If only you knew," she muttered under her breath.

Fen wished to do what some would refer to as a "face-palm" then and there. But he refrained from doing so, striding forward quickly, his strides long.

Maya twisted, swinging one leg as she did so. She aimed for Haley's calf, trying to unbalance the Avalon.

Laia wished someone would break up the fight soon...a wish soon to come true.

"Thanks," Alyss said, panting lightly more from excitement than exertion.

Hiro saw Fen coming, and his smirk dropped.

"Break it up," Fen ordered, stepping into the middle of the fight.

"I never said it was funny," Aaron sulked, rubbing his arm.

Katherine punched him lightly in the other. "You're lucky you didn't."

Haley was surprised to find her grib on Maya slipping. As her leg moved towards Haley's calf, she moved out of the way only to loose her balance anyways, trying to keep her grip on Maya and at least bring the Slatina brat down with her.

Griffin layded on the ground, still in pain from Clair's kick, which he thought was rather unfair considering where she kicked him. He nodded at Alyss and looked up at Fen, stuggling into a sitting position and deciding to stop the fighting if Fen ordered it. But he still had to work hard to supress the urge to go after Clair.

Jack glanced between Dorian and Fen for their next move from his spot on the ground. His pride was more hurt than his back side, but he was still glaring at Griffin only a few feet away.

Clair hiffed as Fen got invovled, trying to break up the fight. Like he could stop them if they really wanted to get back at the Avalons.

Dorian stayed outside of the fighting wolves. "Why? You afraid you'll loose?"

"Yes, because this is the opposite of funny right now," Rose said, agreeing with Kat.

Rina took a seat as the humans moved off, seeing the fight was being broken up. But Rina knew it was far from over.

"Listen, if you want them completely blowing our cover right now, I'm good with that. But leave my pack out of it." The words were edged by a growl, and Fen glared at Dorian with a steely gaze.

Maya felt Haley's grip slipping, and she jerked backwards, trying to loosen it further.

Laia breathed a sigh of relief, some color further retuning to her pale cheeks.

Alyss reached out a hand to help Griffin up. "You okay?" she asked, a little concerned, honestly. Any guy who had been kicked there deserved to be worried about.

Hiro disappeared into the crowd, his interest fading as the fight was broken up.

Aaron shot her a sulky look. "Well, I need a ride home," he said slowly, looking hopefully at Kat, then back at Rose.

Katherine sighed. "I guess you could walk with me....my car broke down."

"If I'm not mistaken, I think it was your pack that started this," Dorian replied, his voice still cold and unemotional.

Haley let go of Maya just as she pulled away, seeing the rest of the Avalon wolves letting the fight go. And she did not want to be the only one to disobey Fen.

Griffin took Alyss's hand and lifted himself up off the ground. "Yeah, I'm fine," he said, stiffling a groan as he stood up straighter.

Jack pushed himself up, and walked toward Dorian and Fen. "If you want to blame someone for starting a fight, you should point a finger at that one," he said, nodding his head at Haley who was too busy releazing Maya to hear his accusation.

"I'd tell you to teach your pack to keep themselves under control, but I doubt you'd be the best teacher for that," Clair said snidely to Fen.

"I can give both of you guys a ride home if you need it," Rose suggested.

"All we have done is moved in for a while. We didn't ask to start a battle," Fen replied in the same, even voice. He ignored Clair, keeping his voice deviod of all emotion, like it was before.

Maya glared at Haley, her cheeks flushed from adrenaline.

"Are you sure?" Alyss persisted.

Hiro was forced to follow the flow of the crowd, unable to fight the sea of people.

"Awesome!" Aaron said, relief clear on his face.

"Thanks, Rose," Katherine said, smilling.

"Well if you kept your pack in line, we wouldn't think you were asking," Clair snapped at him, annoyed at being ignored.

"Thats enough, Clair," Dorian said coldly. "You don't want to get these wolves upset. Who knows what these stray will do if angered."

Jack chuckled at Dorians dry humor.

Haley saw Maya glaring her tongue at her, and stuck her tongue out at the Slatina brat.

"Yeah, yeah. It's nothing," Griffin said with a wave of his hand.

"Any time," Rose said with a shrug.

Fen once again ignored the lycan, signaling for his pack to follow him away from the Slatina wolves.

Maya looked haughtily at the Avalons, particularily Haley, whom she might never forgive, then strode away. Her cheeks remained flushed, and her fists were clenched, a sure sign she wished to continue the fight.

"We better go, too," Alyss said. Now that the fight was breaking up, she no longer had any reason to be here, and all she wanted to do now was go home and relax.

"Remember where I live?" Aaron asked, with a slightly teasing tone. Rose had a decent memory, and considering how he had begged for a ride more than once, she should remember.
