Samuel gave a small whine as he looked at his mother, his ears lowered as did his tail as he slowly followed his sibblings. 'I don't want to leave mother.' He thought, and he was going to say it but decided against it. With every step his heart ached, why were they leaving the only home they ever knew? He was so confused. He gave a small and soft growl as he sat down with Edmund and Nyra. As he sat down, all he did was look over at his mother. His facial expression was a mixture of confusion and anger. "I don't want to leave mother." He mumbled under his breath. He turned to his brother. "Where are they taking us Ed? What's happening and why are we leaving mother?" He asked, his voice slightly croaked as he tried to hold back tears. All of this was new to him, being sold to another owner. Samuel felt as though part of him would be torn away when they were to be driven off without their mother.
Samuel had relied on his mother all his life, and sadness was over-taking him. He turned to his sister. "I'm scared Nyra...What if this man isn't nice?" He asked, his ears slinking even lower. However deep down he knew their new master wouldn't be all that bad, even though he did seem big and tough and a little bit scary even. 'And what exactly will happen when we reach our destination? ...Why does he want us anyways? He doesn't seem like a person to like or have pets. Maybe there's more to this than we think, maybe we have a purpose in our new home but we don't know it yet. This is all so confusing, this has really ruined my good morning.' He thought, his ears regaining their rightful position. He curled his tail around him and rested his head on his paws.
"And as if this couldn't get any worse...My collar is itchy." He growled under his breath. He closed his eyes, hopefully this was just a very bad dream. Though deep down he knew that it wasn't a dream, and he couldn't wake up from reality.

Edmund didn't answer his brothers question, sense he didn't know what to answer. He saw Nome disappear behind them and the truck continue into the woods in the mountains. He looked at his siblings before continuing to look back towards Nome who merely was a dot behind them now.

"I don't want to leave," Nyra whispered. She regreted her choice to come when her Master called now, and a small whine escaped her. She scooted closer to Samuel, wanting some comfort.

Samuel waited for the man to drive them off to their new home, he was reluctant to leave his mother but he was also rather curious as to where and what their new home was going to be. He rested his head back down on his paws and gave a soft whine.

Edmund and his sibings rode further and further away from their one and only home. When they had gotten deep into the mountains, they saw a big wire fence up ahead. They heard the man click some buttons and the gate open before them. To Edmund it seemed to be a prison facility. They drove up a long gravel path, then the man stomped at the break and the car skidded to a stop. The man jumped out from the drivers seat and opened the back for them. He held three leads in his hand. Edmund let the man put one o them on him without struggle, then he jumped down obediently. The man gave him alight pat beore turning to Shila.
Shila panted in excitement and tried to jump down without the leash. The man pushed her back and barked a angry "No! stay" Shila was surprised but sat down. The man put the leash on her then said "jump" and nodded in approvement to the ground. Shila jumped down and stood next to the sitting Edmund.

Nyra was highly aware that she lacked a collar, and was waiting to see him bring one out for her. She hated collars, however, and leashes even more. She took a step backwards, whining softly.

As soon as he saw the leashes, Samuel gave a low growl. He had no idea what was going to happen to them, and he stood up and raised his paw as if to swat the man's hand away.

The man grabbed Samuels collar and pulled him up to the opening before clipping on the lead. He held the three leads before moving on to Nyra. He took a leash out from the inside pocket of his jacket. He took one of the ends and brot it through the handle, creating a noose. He threw it over her neck and then once again said "Jump" to Samuel and Nyra

Nyra let out another whine, this one drawn out and louder. "I don't want to go," she said, a deep ache radiating through her as she thought of mother, and their house.

The man got inpatient and once again commanded "Jump"

Nyra hesitantly jumped down, quickly walking to Edmund, taking comfort in his presence. It offered a small bit of familiarity, a fact she was glad for.

Edmund smiled faintly at Nyra as the man gave her a pat and said "good girl" they then waited for Samuel to get down.

Samuel growled again but jumped down reluctantly, he stared up at the man. 'I don't like him...I hope that as soon as we get inside there will be a whole load of socks to chew.' He thought, his tail down low and his ears laid back.

The man then suddenly let them off the leashes. What were the point of putting them on then? Edmund were confused. The man then gave out a loud whistle, that almost folded Edmunds ears double. In the matter of seconds a dog came crawling out from the dog flap on the double doors of the Mansion. The dog looked uncomfortable at their presence, and said nothing.
