Michael shook the flames off but suddenly a pillar of fire went up around him, causing him to scream in pain, cringing as it ended, he'd been burned.
OOC: Going by the Anime depiction of the Burn condition.

Michael cringed from the Leer but turned his back to him and used Sand Attack, kicking sand in Grell's eyes. However, the pillar of fire erupted again, hurting him more from his Burn. He attempted Tackle.

Michael was forced back, then once again engulfed in flames from his burn. He felt faint, but didn't go down yet. He tried Tackle again.

Michael managed to hit Grell in the ribs with a rather strong Tackle, before suffering from his Burn again.

Michael was hit again and then hurt by his burn. He swayed back and forth, trying to cling to consciousness but lost the grip and saw everything go black. He finally fell to the ground, eyes swirly, knocked out. He was sucked into his Poke Ball, because he was the leader and everyone in his party was knocked out, he and Kenna's Poke Balls to the Pallet Pokemon Center.
Blaze gave her partner a berry. "Good job, I hope you feel better, but we won that easy."

A Shiny Wild Stunky came out of the grass, looking at Grell, staring at him.
Michael felt himself being reenergized, his burn healing. He just felt better completely, the tiredness leaving. He opened his eyes, finding himself in his Poke Ball.
A Chansey took their balls out of the healing Machine and let them out. "Hello, you've been restored to full health. Are you both feeling better?"

Michael looked down. "No...sorry, he knocked me out." he said. "I'm sorry...I really wanted to win but...I'm sorry I let you down." he said, looking ashamed of himself.
Blaze took a few steps back, putting her paw over her sensitive nose due to the Stunky's foul smell. "I'm not biting that."
The Stunky rubbed again Grell, seeminly in love with him.

Michael nodded. "Ok...but let's try to teach you some new moves first, ok? You've got the heart, you just need the right moves." he said. "I'll help you."
The Stunky ran in front of him, angry. It did a handstand and then backflipped, spraying him right in the face with a horrid smelling purple liquid before storming off.
Blaze ran up but skidded to a stop upon smelling the purple stench drifting off Grell. It made her eyes water and she covered her nose tight. "PU! Man you stink!"
