Then, rules should be enforced more or less? I can't blame Zion, for how he feels, if he got a warning,but others didn't and a mod was right there, and I quote; No one is above the law.

Starfire_ wrote: Yeah I get the same warnings as Zion so he shouldn't feel bad. It is unfair of mods to pic on certian ones who swear but let 'special or favorite' people get away with it. Mods SHOULD treat others the same principle as us when we get warnings.... Report it to a lead mod OR Togo or to a mod you trust. What ever floats your boat. This is the ONLY way the mods in charge will know for certain, and how action will get started.

LOL Re tard if spelt right is censored, lol but the funny thing is words that are alot worse then the F word are not blanked out, I tested it before so im not going to repeat, but stupid minor bad words like [removed] shouldn't be nore should anyone be reported for it, cuz theres many more that are not blocked that are much worse, same with swears in different languages, sorry if this has nothing to do with this topic but thought id mention itXD

You got a good point there, they should be less on your back about words such as the D, GD, and B words. Kudos to you!

Thats a good point RJ with the D word, if Cartoon Network characters use it, it should be legal.

However- On this site, it isn't. And I doubt it'll change.

All I have to say is this;
If we allow one or two words to be "legal" because other, less...friendly, places use them, then everyone will start forming arguements and lying about how other words are used plenty too. And then they'll be allowed as well.
If Animation Source ever comes to this, I'm going to leave. End of story.
Animation Source is meant to be a family site, which means censored swearing, if any. Some of you may not like that rule, but alot of people find it a relief. If you want to curse, then do it somewhere else. Here is not the place for it.
And in response to RJ; Yes, they'll be introduced to it at some point. But do you really want to be responsible for doing that? I would hate to think that I corrupted them like that, ecspecially since I know there are tons of younger members.
So once agian, yeah, they'll be introduced to it at some point in their lives, but that doesn't mean it has to be here. If there are plenty of other bad influences out there, why make Animation Source another one?

I dont necessarily accuse RJ of promoting the "D" word (your speech was powerful) but then again Im not accusing you either. Reality is harsh, bad words have made it to Disney, and theyll soon make it here. Thats life on the cold side.

I have to agree with Windancer, though I doubt they'll ever allow bad words here, since most kids use it for offensive terms.

Everyone has pretty much made their point with banning curses and what not, but how about the thing she's actually ranting about?
Why are some users allowed to curse /with mods around/ but others aren't? This has happened to me many time in the shout box. We should discuss fairness and how /some/ mods do the whole favoritism thing. Just because a particular user is a bit more popular, and is your friend, doesn't mean they cannot be punished or warned for cursing. Friend or not, its breaking the rules.
