David chuckled. "Well I can't." he said Riding on. About a mile later, he sensed something watching him and stopped. "Somethings not right." he said, the horses were spooked as well.

A Pupa Worm was watching them from the canyon above.

"Yah there must be somthin round here, like mabey a cyote or wolf."

The Pupa Worm jumpped down from atop the cliff with an unearthly screech, charging at them.

"Holy c__p! What the heck is that"? Logan said raming into David's horse so they were out of the way.

The Worm lashed out with its claw, slitting the horses' throats and making them fall over dead.

David rolled out of harms way and shot the approaching Worm in the chest twice, forcing it back.

OOC: Pupa Worms can be killed with conventional weapons, its their evolved forms that are immune to them.

Logan jumpped to his feet and shot twice with his rifle. "You ok David?"

OOC got it

"Yeah." said David, shooting the Worm twice in the head. However, instead of simply falling dead, it exploded into green energy, leaving nothing but green flames behind. "I'm going to say this once...that was an alien!"

OOC: Worms explode like that when they die, but strangely the explosion can't kill anyone, a human used a katana to kill several and despite having it impaled on his sword was unharmed by the explosion.

"Well now let's no jump to conclusions... it could just be a freak o nature or somthing". Logan really did'nt want it to be an alien, cause that would me they were doomed.

ooc yah like in the Zelda games.

Several more screechs came from the canyon wall, more Worms appearing.

"If it was a freak, there wouldn't be more!" said David, relouding and shooting down a few Worms as they came down the canyon wall, causing them to explode like the first one.

".......ok ok so their aliens......" Logan kept open fire on all the targets he could take.

ooc mabey you should just change Davids name to Jarret cuz thats what you keep typing.

"Yeah really! I'm almost outa amo"! Logan eyed the cliff, he knew what was comin.

OOC: Good idea, I think I will.

Jarret nodded. "Well...at least we go down fighting." said Jarret, running out of amo and putting his gun away. He watched the Worms approach and as one reached form him, he pulled out a knife and sliced through it, killing it and making it explode. He keapt fighting with the knife as best as he could.

Logan gulpped, he was always afriad of death. "Oh right GO DOWN.....fightin, thats just great....GO DOWN?!? C__P!"
