Konan's ears lowered slightly when he heard why Dark was sad. "Well, why don't you take your friends with you?" He suggested, tilting his head ever so slightly. He didn't want to see his best friend, who was like a brother to him, go off to Germany by himself. Konan knew that from Nome, to Germany was quite a long way and that there were many dangers if one should go alone. He knew that there were dangers for one wolf or dog, or maybe even a wolf/dog like Konan was, alone. "There are quite a few dangers out there that one wolf can't handle." He added, wondering what his best friend's answer was going to be, and he hoped it would be yes. 'If not, I could always follow him and make sure he doesn't get hurt.' Thought Konan.
Konan then picked up another scent near by, he had his wonderful bloodhound nose to thank for that. The wolf/maremma/bloodhound mix followed the scent and soon spotted a female wolf. "Hello?" He said, wondering if she was friendly. He most definately tried to be as friendly as possible incase this wolf was irratible. "Erm..That's a nasty cold you have there."

Laika jumped with surprise at the unexpected presnce. "Oh, uh..." she began, trying to get her bearings. SIlently, she was scolding herself for not being more aware of her surroundings. "Yeah, it is," she said, blushing faintly. "Oh, I'm Laika," she added quickly, realizing she had forgotten to introduce herself. "Who are you?'

Hunter looked at Darkwolf. "Oh, that you don't have to worry about. I'll be leading you back." He gave a sly smile, not being able to contain his normal personality in anymore.

Konan smiled, now feeling relaxed knowing this wolf was friendly. "It's nice to meet you Laika, I'm Konan." He replied, sitting down. His black, white and brown fur blew to one side, following the flow of the breeze. "So, what brings you closer to town? I thought all wolves prefered to be deep in the forest, closer to the mountains. Though, I probably wouldn't know considering I'm not full wolf." He said, trying to strike up a conversation.

Laika felt a sudden urge to tell him her scret. It wasn't like he was part of her pack, and besides, she rarely went there anyways. It couldn't do any harm. "I'm not full wolf either. Only a small part of me is, actually." A sheepish grin crossed her face, but she felt a huge weight lift off her shoulders.

Laika grinned. "None taken," she replied. "I''m mostly Tamaskan Dog, and they look a bit wolfish, a fact that saved me when I was a pup." Memories rushed back, and she mentally shook them off, gritting her teeth. I'm not going to start reminiscing....I'll do it later. she thought determindly.
