I never really noticed it when I first watched Balto. My parents did, but they were amused.

Kids don't notice. They don't care. That's the whole point xD
If kids don't care then why should adults? This topic is just silly.

Exactly xD
Seriously, I watch cartoons I watched when I was little, I notice so many things that AREN'T "childfriendly" (depending on opinions) that I didn't notice back then. Kids don't notice, so it doesn't matter xD

I find this topic funny, but would like to say some things.

First off, saying "oh my god" shouldn't be considered a cuss word and I'm pretty sure the person who first said it in the world didn't mean for it to be a cuss word either, on whoever said that, kids throw it around all the time. Just like saying something is "gay" when they mean stupid. People don't really care about what they say now a days.

Second, I honestly like that Stella is seduactive, it gives her character, instead of being that little shy character no one is interested in because, well it's not interesting. And she has boobs, so what? Everyone has boobs. Girls have boobs. Guys have boobs[either manboobs or 'pecks'] If your mother breast feed you, guess what, you saw boob. Atleast they aren't showing nipple or giving her a cameltoe. I find it funny teenagers freak out about this "boobie and seductive thing". Kid's don't care. I mean, I'm PRETTY SURE everyone as child, saw atleast one type of animal...making copies.. and I highly doubt any of you are scarred from it or even remember it for that matter. It didn't dramatically change your life, or even change your life at all and that's more then boob and seducation. So think about that before you go around freaking out and covered breasts and a character being flirty.

And disagree on ADGTH being a "bad" movie because smoking and gambling.. I doubt even one child has smoked or tried to gamble because of that movie. Most are too young to even know what that stuff even is. Children/Teenagers smoke cigarettes and weed and ect because of other people's pressure or videos about it and how the look "cool". No child looks up to Jenna or Stella's 'moves', but a lot look up to Britney Spears and Lady Gaga. I know I looked up to Britney Spears. I didn't even care who Jenna was or how she acted.

Ever notice that the "tobacco is fowl" commericals don't really make a difference? It's because it's a cartoon, teenagers and children don't do what cartoons say because they are fake and just cartoons. People are real and they know how other people feel and work. So don't go blame a cartoon. If any of that makes sense.

Not to mention, I literally just heard Cartoon network say "I'm a family man, not a homo." I think we should be more concerned about stuff like that, then little carefree movies with nothing wrong with them.

And that is how I feel.

Stella FTW.

I agree with you 100% - and I'm a teenager! It seems to be over-protective adults sheltering their kids from everything who seem to be the problem.

But anyway, you are so right about everything. Kudos!

I thought that Stella's seductiveness was... overbearing.
I don't think it was so much NOT family friendly as much as it was really annoying.

The thing that disturbed me the most about Stella was actually...

Her fingers. They were really creepy looking.

bad Behavior, no way, you forget that Balto was a real dog in a real time. Poeple drink; so what!? You can't cover up the bad of Balto forever. It doesn't even show any drinkers, and you say you want Balto to bleed when he hits rocks! What is wrong here!?

^ I never even NOTICED a bar, because it was in what.. ONE frame? Like kids are going to notice that, or - as I've already said - care.

Ok-links instead of pics for copyright reasons
But look at the pics and Stella’s "boobs"

And the photo-on a website aimed at kids! And this goose has the so called "boobs or breasts" too!

I really don't see what the big deal is.

Many children are over protected these days; my parents never hid "the facts of life" from me and it hasn't done me any harm if anything its protected me from evil people. (I’m 26 by the way but young at heart, I like stella Myself!).

sooner or later kids are going to have to know about these things, sure it isn't really family-orientated to give stella large breasts in WoC, but dwelling on it doesn't help; it just encourages people to exploit the idea and possibly make things worse, like drawling rudimentary images
