I'm interested in trying for Vem, but what breed is she?

She was an icelantic sheepdog, but you can change it.

Name: Vem

Gender: Female

Age: 3-4

Breed: Icelandic Sheepdog

Personality: A surprisingly mixture of a "girly-girl" and a "tomboy", she makes friends easily due to her ability to adapt. She enjoys conersing with friends and looking her best, but is always up for a bit of roughplay if necessary. She is friendly and socially inclined, but isn't willing to settle down for a real relationship, due to the fact she has been moved around a lot. She is independent, meaning she hates having to rely on anyone. She does enjoy praise and attention, but isn't always begging for it like some dogs. She is curious and a bit impulsive.

History: She was adopted by the captain of a cargo ship that had a rat problem. Sea rats, being bigger and fiercer than normal rats, were a huge problem, and were difficult to get rid of. The captain was advised to get a dog, as some rats were the size of a cat. He chose Vem because of her long fur and the fact she was bigger than her siblings. Vem was trained to track down and kill sea rats, and excelled at the work.

She soon got rid off most of the rats, the others dying from natural causes. Though there was no longer a problem, the captain was fond of the young dog, and kept her. However, problems began arising, and the superstitious crew blamed it on Vem. Reluctantly, the captain agreed to sell her. He found a good home in which the family would use her to help herd reindeer. She lived there for about a year, and was sold again when she was three, due to financial problems.

Vem was then sold to a family that raised a few other animals, namely chickens and pigs. Vem has lived there ever since, but found that she has a hard time settling down in one place. She refuses to mate and have pups, though a few males have worked up the courage to ask. Though the canine still finds herself longing for the seas once in a while, she has adapted well to her new home, and enjoys it there.
