"I...can think of last night a little. Everything else is blank. I don't know how I got here. The stuck a sharp silver stick in my leg. It has green stuff in it." Sophie yipped.

The memory was distastful and she shivered, she looked at her leg. The bandage was still there. She chewed at it, but it wasn't very useful, her leg felt a little swallon and sore, but she didn't think it would result in too much harm.

The Border Collie nodded sympathetically and headed back to his three friends.
"It's a new medicine" Galileo explained. "Green, and it washes away long-term memory"
Ridge furrowed his brow.
"Is that all that'll happen though"
"For now, it seems like it, but I'm not so sure"

Sophie listened intently and she licked her maw. She got close to the ddoor of her cage.

"Since I forgot...I'd like to know your names. You, said, I was Sophie. I sort of remember saying that last night." She said softly.

The black, white, and brown pup sat down and looked at them with a pure gentle, kind, and bold manner. She may have forgotten everything, but she herself was biologically written in herself. A little beautiful girl with a golden heart and a desire for adventure.

Galileo tried to smile and said, "Well I'm Galileo, that's Ridge, the Sarloos is named Trigg and the Shepherd in the cage over Ridge is Pilot"
Ridge shifted in his cage, wanting to be let out, but knew better then to try. The select dogs that were allowed to be fed would be fed shortly and Ridge didn't need another night of being sore and out of it. Trigg's ears perked again, and he mumbled something quietly, pointing at the door. Galileo nodded and headed back to his cage... the humans would be coming in soon.
"We'll know more about this whole thing when they come back in" Galileo assured Ridge as he slipped back in his cage.

Sophie remaining sitting near the front of her cage. She turned towards the door in which trigg had gestured. Sophie's teal blue eyes watched as two humans walked in followed by a couple more. A blonde women and dark haired man stopped infront of Sohpie though, starring in a at intently. "Seems to be no side effects..." The women mummbled as she gestured to the man. He open the door and took Sophie, dangling her in the air. Her ears fell back and she remainsubmissive as the women felt all her legs, tail, and flashed a light in her eyes. "She did well with the testing. She'll be a good canident for future trials." She hummed and patted Sophie's head. the man locked her back into the cage and Sophie shivered, laying down and watching them with far less intrest then she had before.

Ridge kept his eyes locked on the dark haired man. He'd never hated anyone as much as he did that human...
While Ridge glared, Galileo perked his ears and took in everything they said. It seemed that whatever mixture the humans had given her had run it's course.
The humans gave out the food to the dogs they had picked to deserve it. Ridge was given food, but the German Shepherd mix wasn't surprised. Anyone who was tested on... or punished, was usually given food. Once the white coated humans were gone, all the dogs in the room relaxed.
"It seems like the memory loss should be the only effect Ridge" Galileo reported confidently.

Sophie got back up as she watched the humans leave. The entire room seemed to be less tense as they vanished behind the door. Sophie looked at her companions. "I guess, that just means I get a fresh start." She said with a natural happy tone. She wasn't making it up either. She couldn't remember her past, and she couldn't change that. So she was content with making her future good and being a good person while in it. Just as she had wanted to help before the memory loss, she still wanted to now.

Ridge grinned at the pup's plucky attitude and finally decided to try to eat his food. After all, it was better to regain his energy now before the lab got yet another shipment of stolen dogs and strays. Until then, all they had were the small, musty cages to keep them buisy... at least until the dark haired man returned.

Sophie shut her eyes to the darkness and took a deep breath. She yawned and a small sound escaped her throat. The pup smiled when she opened her eyes to the others, "I don't want to leave, if given the chance. I want to help. Don't ever try to get rid of me.." She mummbled and then added, "Please." These dogs were all she knew now. She had no idea who her family was, or friends, or anything.
