Nuka blushed and smiled "Ha, thanks." The harness was quite snug but it didn't hurt, so he left it alone.His muscles earned for a run, to be moved and flexed.

Mishka's tail wagged happily "One.." She looked around with a mishtevious(SP) grin on her face "Two...." She scrunched down "Three!" The wolf/dog raced forward at a unelivable speed for the avarage husky.Her paws kicked up snow and it fell around her ad the team like a mistical light."Woo hoo!" She threw her head back like she always did on a run and a blissfull smile creeped onto her face."C'mon guys!" Pushing forward on the halter as hard as she could manage.The sharp pain in her paw was beginning to come back, but she ignored it.

Inuit smiled at Kishma "Oh, hre she goes with the countdwn..." He laughed full heartidly and mimiced the actions Mishka did."One..Two....Three!" He yelled, racing forward with his team as fast as he could manage.He watched as the blissfull smile creeped on the female's face again like it always did on a run.

Echo tried to mimic the team's actions as Mishka was counting down, but as she mastered the second one, she felt the halter jerk forward and she followed.She felt the cold snow on her paw pads and the warmth of the other wolves and dogs around her.

Kishma studied Mishka and copied her movements surprisingly well for never racing a day in her life. She shot forward a split second after Mishka with a huge smile spreading across her face. Her eyes traveled from Mishka's feet to her own feet as she got the rythm of the run down. She waited until she was sure was running correctly before lifting her head up, a proud and slightly smug smile on her face. She howled with excitement, almost tripping over her own feet with the distraction. She smiled sheepishly at Mishka and Ivy at the slip up, but regained her confidence a minute later.

Ivy returned Kishma's apologetic smile with a small grin of her own. She tried not to stare in amazment as Kishma picked up on the running quite quickly. Ivy tried not to concentrate on the fact that she was on a team and just run like she normally would, but she trambled on the leather caples holding the harnesses together a number of times. She tried to pay attention to her feet so she would stop tripping up, but the cord somehow kept finding its way around her legs.

Ian wasn't really paying much attention to what he was doing. He found that being in the back, it was mostly about pulling the weight, which Ian could do well. He had some trouble not stepping on the back of Nuka's ankels, but he eventaully got the hang of it. He looked ahead of him to watch Kishma, Ivy, Mishka. He saw how Kishma and Mishka both had the same smile on their faces, like they had been doing this for years. Well, Mishka may have been, but Ian wondered how Kishma could ran like that so natually. He didn't linger on the thought long as he began to watch Mishka ran. When he noticed he was watching her, he immidiately turned his attention to Ivy, whose smile showed just how much she was struggling. Ian couldn't content himself by watching his sister trip over her feet, and his eyes drifted back to Mishka.

Tony couldn't help the smug smile that came across his face at the wolves' akward running styles. But it disappeared when he noticed Echo was having the same sort of trouble. He decided that after running, he would ofer to help her improve her running. She definately needed someone to help her go over the basica again. Then, his eyes went to Mishka, and he smiled at the fun she was having, He even noted that her apparant new best friend Kishma was doing well. Tony didn;t comprehend how unbelievable that was because his mind noticed that he wasn't the only one looking ahead at their lead dog. He supressed a growl as he watched Ian out of the corner of his eye. How dare that wolf eye up Mishka!

Mishka threw her head back and let out a howl that was almost identical to Kishma's, as the howl ended she snapped back to the real word, she was suprised and confused on why she had howled in the first place.But she kept running on, pulling on the dark leather halter until it cut deep into her skin like it normally did since it was old and sharp around the edges.She felt a warm gaze on her back so she turned her head around to see Ian looking away from her, a sweet smile ran across her face happily, she felt the warm glow of his stare on her back fade and she longed for it again.

Nuka watched Ivy struggle a little with adjusting to the new way of running, they were never tied down before but for a first timer she was doing good."Great job Ivy!" He called as he stumbled clumsily of his big paws but recovered quickley and ran in time with Mishka and the other sled team dogs.He watched at Kishma smiled and howled along with Mishka, they were running in prefect time together, expressions the same an dhowls the same."No, they couldn't-could they?" The two looked alike in some ways and Mishka was much faster and slightly taller than her team mates, the possibility could be true.

Inuit laughed happily as the team ran through the snow, everything seemed perfect and in sinc, how it was meant to be.He lethis gave settle where he wished it to, and it rightfully fell onto Kishma, and startled, he shook it away at the sound of howls."Mishka?" He snapped his head to their lead dog and saw her howling, howling.She had never howled before, well he had heard howls from the allies at night when the team was asleep but could that had been her?

Ooc:// Sorry I haven't all week. I don't get the time to write during the school week, but I'll be here on the weekends!
And I love the pic! I'll have to work on some renders for this rp too. Hmmmm... so many ideas...

Bic:// Kishma smiled as her howl blended in with Mishka's. She was slowly feeling a deep connection between her and the husky. Even though she had only met Mishka that day, she felt like she had known the dog all her life. Like there were sisters or something. Kishma's howl wavered as she tripped over a pile of snow, and her voice broke off. She regained her balance for a second before feeling a sharp tug on her harness that caused her to fall into the snow. She look at the cause of the sled wreck: Ivy.

Ivy hadn't meant to fall and crash the whole team, but Nuka's happy encouragement had startled her. She had been so flustered that she forgot to pay attention to her feet and the snow, and had gotten tripped up on a stick that had cracked beneath her paws. Her face blushed deeply as the gazes of the other dogs turned to her. She scrunched up her shoulders to slightly hide herself from their gazes.

Tony sighed as he slowed to a stop when he saw the other dog go down. He was able to slow up early enough to prevent himself from crashing into the snow drifts. He rolled his eyes at the wolf, which Ian caught out of the corner of his eye. Ian growled at Tony from where he was laying in the snow where he had fallen. He stood up and shook away the snow from his fur. "Watch yourself!" he snarled at the husky. Tony took a few steps back from the wolf with a nod of his head. "Didn't mean any harm," he said calmly, turning away from Ian.

Nuka tried to get her back on her feet as she was falling by pulling one way but he was too late, the whole team had crashed into the deep snow."Its okay Ivy, your good for a beginner and you were better than her." He pointed toward Echo, the clumsiest of the team.He nudged her up to her feet as he glanced over at Tony who looked annoyed."Be easy on her, sheesh!" He didn't want to make Ivy feel uncomfortable with all of the stares.

Mishka snarled at Ian under her breath as she slipped out of her harness to help the team recover and get to their feet."Anyone hurt?" She looked around and counted the team, almost forgetting who was a wolf and who wasn't, they all looked like they were a team to her.She figured Echo would have a hard time getting to her feet unliek the rest of the team, so she checked on her first, but she couldn't find her."What?Where is Ech-Oh no.." She raced over to a large mound of snow that had fallen from a hill from Echo's impact she guessed.

Echo opened her eyes, white was all she could see.She heard barking faintly from the from the otherside of the snow wall."Help!Mishka, Tony, Inuit!" She called for her packmates but it only came out as a weak and quiet muffled sound that was easily mistaken as just the wind.She felt impact in her side, had they heard her?Soon she relized Mishka was clawing her way in to save her, but her vision was becoming black and she was shivering violently under the large mound of snow.She felt her breath shorten as she gasped for the air that wasn't there.

Nuka and Inuit raced by Mishka's side, digging furiously into the snow.Inuit looked over at Mishka's paws and saw blood covering them "Mishka, your bleeding!" She shook her head "And shes dying!" He saw the pain of Mishka's eyes, but she was determined to save her team mate."Echo!Don't close your eyes!" Inuit yelled into the snow, his paws becoming sore as he felt cold fur."We got her!" He watched Mishka dive into the snow , her jaws extended as she grabbed her scruff and pulled her onto the sled."We gotta head home, now!" She slid quickley into the harness and looked back, waiting for everyone to get ready.

Ooc:// Sorry I didn't post before now. I've been sleeping away my days. (and forgetting to log out of BS)

Bic:// Ivy nodded her thanks to Nuka as he helped her back to her feet. She felt momentarily glad when the stares were turned away from her when Mishka announced that Echo was missing. But than the husky's words sunk in as she ran off to a large mound of snow. Ivy was frozen in shock, wondering if Echo's accident was her fault. She didn't have time for guilt to settle in because Kishma was shouting at her. "Ivy, help me get this thing off!" Kishma struggled with the harness as she tried to get loose from it to help the other dogs. Ivy grabbed the leather in her mouth and Kishma easily wiggled out of it. She sped across the snow just as Mishka pulled Echo out of the suffocating pile.

Tony hadn't had time to say something back to Nuka. He had run off with Mishka and Inuit as soon as he heard Echo's name. He reached the pile a second before Mishka, digging into the snow at the same time. Soon, they had Echo free, and he could hear Kishma running up to them. She helped Mishka and Tony drag Echo onto the sled. He pushed passed Kishma to get to his place in the team and slip back into his harness, glaring at Nuka to hurry up and get into his harness.

Ian looked around, not sure what was happening or what he should do. When they returned with the unconsious husky, Ian's mind immediately went to pessimistic thoughts of how they should have never come with the huskys. This was all the wolves fault. They should have never accepted a ride on the sled team. But Ian wa snow determined to fix the mess they had made, and helped Kishma into her harness. He nodded at Mishka when she said that they needed to hurry home. "We'll get there as fast as we can," he said, making a promise for them all. He wasn;t sure why, but he wanted to try and keep Mishka calm, to supress her worries. It was a strange feeling that reminded him of the way he felt about Ivy and Kishma, but it seemed stronger than brotherly love. And it scared Ian to death.

Mishka looked at Ian and smiled worridly "Thanks Ian." She said sweetly, her fur being blown back by the wind.Mishka ran forward, she felt her gaze slowly go back to Ian, but she was unsure why the feeling to look at him was so strong.'Whats up with me today?' She thought to herself as they thankfully made it to the kennals.Mishka slipped Echo on her back adn into her nice and wamrm dog house "Get me hot water bottle, now!" She was worried her clumsy friend wouldn't make it.

Nuka watched Mishka look at Ian, and Ian look at Mishka in a strange way."Ooo Ian has a crush!" He whispered into Ian's ear with a chuckle before racing off to find a hot water bottle so Ian couldn't tackle him.

Inuit rummaged through their owner's house, looking for the eletric heater.Soon he found it and drug it outside towards Echo's dog house and turned it on.Heat filled the small dog house quickley, he watched as snow and ice melted from Echo's fur.

Echo shivered as the heat hit her, where was she?"Oh no, did I die?" She asked outloud, and heard Mishka's laugh, followed by Inuit's."I'm not dead am I?" She laughed, then relized someone was near her "Where is Tony, is he okay?Oh no, did he get into the aval-" She felt Mishka's sweet smelling paw go over her mouth "Tony is fine, I promise, he'll be here in a minute." Echo nodded and finnaly opened her eyes.

Ian snarled at Nuka, but didn't have time to snap at his neck because the sled starting moving in the same moment. As he ran, Ian tried to sort through his thoughts and refused to look at Mishka. Was there some truth to what Nuka said? No way, there couldn't be. She was just becoming very good friends with Kishma, so it was natural for Ian to feel brotherly toward the husky. Besides, even if he was feeling something more than friendship toward Mishka, he couldn't do anything about it. He was a wolf. Not just any wolf, but the alpha's son of the only pack in the area! He had to mate with and have pups with another wolf for the sake of the pack. He couldn't betray his parents like that.

His thought were interrupted as they came back to the kennels, and Inuit and Mishka got to work on warming Echo up. Kishma slipped out of her harness easier this time and hurried after Mishka. She sat outside of the dog house, waiting for the news. Ivy, after struggling out of her harness, padded up to Kishma's side to hear how Echo was doing.

Tony ran into the supply shed and grabbed one of the hot water bottles stored there. His legs couldn't get him to the dog house fast enough, but when he entered it, Echo was already awake. He sighed on relief and set the bottle down next to her head. "Glad to see you're awake," he said with a smile.

Ian struggled to get out of his harness, ripping the leather in the process. He couldn't do anything to fix it, so he left the seld and padded closer to the dog house. He sat down a few feet away, not really feeling part of the family concern. He watched the seen from afar, until Nuka's brown form caught his eye. Ian restained himself from lunging at the wolf for his earlier comment, but also knew that it was the reaction that would confirm Nuka's accustions. Ian sighed in fustration and laid down in the snow, staring at the dog house form his position on the ground.

Echo looked up to see Tony, she smiled as brightly as she could manage "I'm glad to see you to." She smiled nuzzling his chest sweetly, her ears hot with embarresment.
(Awe!)

Mishka felt Ian's presence near her so she turned around, he was a little ways from teh dog house, away from anyone else."Whats wrong with him?" She murmmered, a little worried.Mishka trotted toward him and set next to him, a large rushing feeling in her chest.She looked over at him sideways "Thanks for helping us Ian, I know you didn't have to." SHe looked down and scuffled her paws again, she had never been this shy before."I know we are jjust weak huskies to you, but I wish we could be friends." She said in a half whisper.The male had something about him that drew her in towards him, that made her want to jump and bark happily for no reason, he made her smile.But he being the Alpha's son and her being the lead sled dog and the most famous dog in Nome's daughter, she knew their friendship, or even love couldn't work out ver well.She shook the word love out of her head, how could she love this stuborn male?Then she though, but how could she not?
(Dum, Dum, Dum dum dum...DUM!)

Bic:// Tony smiled down at Echo warmly. He wasn't quite sure how to react to her. He had always thought that Mishka was the one for him that he hadn't even considered the small, clumsy husky just in front of him. He was starting to feel a warmth in his chest that he used to associate with Mishka, but she had left the dog house after mumbling something that Tony hadn't heard. Wait, Tony hadn't heard something that Mishka said? That was a shocker.

Ian glanced up at Mishka and shrugged. "I didn't do much of anything. You and you're team were the ones who pulled Echo out of the snow. Probably saved her life too." Ian wasn't thinking about what he said. It just came out. But had he actually compliment a husky? Well, that was strange. Ian hardly compliment anyone let alone someone he barely knew. Let alone a dog! Than Mishka's other words reached his ears. He sighed as he sat back up, looking away from her. "I don't know about that," he said hesitantly. "My parents have big plans for me as the alpha son. They wouldn't want to be haning around a bunch of huskies." His words sunk in just as they were out. "Wait! I didn't mean it like that! I'm just saying you guys are huskies and we're wolves. The two groups just don't mix."

Butch walked towards the sled team, his back leg limping slightly "My leg must be acting up again." He growled as he reached the team "Who are they?You mangy wolv-Kishma?"The black and wite male backed up, her face twisted into a puzzled posture."Kishma, is that you?" He stepped forward, the eyes, the black marking on her back, this was Kishma for sure.'Had they found eachother, on no..Where is that reched Moth?' He thought, worried.

Mishka looked up at Ian and nodded "No, your right, your too right." She shrugged, going to wal off before her father had caught her off and began to fire firing off questions, then he said Kishma's name."How do you know Kishma dad?Shes a wolf." She knew her father despised wolves and wolf/dogs, they were always looked down upon in the town and of course he followed along."Shes not a wolf Mishka, your friend here is your-" The old husky cut himself off, not wanting to reveal the secret that Moth and he had kept so well, but then yet again they never thought they would meet ever again."Shes my what?" Annoyed she stepped forward, her tail low and ears up to catch any mutter."We should see her mother." He murmmered, glancing over at Kishma.

Nuka's head titled, of course the whole group had said they looked, acted, and even sounded alike, but could their accusation really be true?

Kishma cocked her head at the older husky that was obviously Mishka's father. "How do you know who I am?" she asked him, racking her brain for a memory of meeting him. There was a small sense of familiarity about Butch, but Kishma pushed it aside at to seeing him ran with his team so many times. "Why do you want to see my mother?" Kishma snarled. Even though she and Moth disagreed on many things, she still did not want to lead this hostile husky right to her mother.

Ian growled at Butch. "If you think for one second that we're going to take you to our pack, you're out of your mind." Ian took a few protective steps toward Kishma and Ivy, like any good brother or alpha wolf would do.

Ivy sat on her hunches looking between Kishma and Butch, than Kishma and Mishka. As she thought about the two, she realized how smiliar their names were, and as she looked at them together, she realized how much they looked alike. It had to be some freak coincidence because Kishma was a wolf and Mishak was a husky. Right?

Butch snarled loudly, Mishka nudging him gently "Dad..don't." She murmmered softly, uncomfortable and a little scared of what her father might do.Butch pushed hs daughter to the ground and met forheads with Ian "You listen here mister royal, that 'wolf' right there, is my daughter...I need totalk to my mate, her mom." Butch whispered, not wantng to let anyone else hear them."Her name is Mishka, her mother's name is Moth, I'm her dad." Butch took a step back.

Mishka felt the cold snow hit her body as she fell to the ground, her shoulder giving off a little pang of pain from her father's force."Sorry." She whispered, the confident and bubbly female her team and the wolves had gotten to known had been washed away at the sight of her father alone.

Nuka looked at Mishka worridly, he could tell something was up with her father and her, and he wondered how Ian would react to this.Nuka tried not to stare at the husky as she got back to her feet, but he couldn't help it, this Mishka felt alien.

Inuit, being one of Mishka's friends for awhile now, knew why she was acting so strange, she was ver submissiv towards her father and for good reasons.

"I don't care who you are," Ian snarled quietly back at Butch, trying not to let the shock of the husky's words sunk in. It just couldn't be! He took a step back towards Butch and growled again. "You aren't getting anywhere near my family and my pack!"

Kishma hurried to Mishka's side to help her up. She glared at Butch, a flash of hatred washing over her. Kishma didn't know why she was feeling so protective over Mishka, but she knew that if he touched Mishka again, Kishma would be on top of him in a second.

Tony stepped closer to Ian and Butch, getting ready to step into the middle of them if things got out of hand.

Ivy was too distracted to noticed her brother and Butch. She was still staring at Kishma and Mishka. There was something between them that was... sisterly?

Ooc:// Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been working on the characters in my Balto family tree and been rendering other characters alot. Anyways, I missed rping so much that I'm taking a break from characters to reply to all my rps.
