"I've seen her eyes go red before," Shay said thoughtfully. "Do you think she could be a vampire or something?" she asked.

Benny shrugged "Maybe,"He looked around to see if anyone was listening in on they're conversation.

"Well, I better go to class," Shay said, thinking the conversatiion risky and uncomfortable. "Mr.Brunner won't be hard on me, but I have to admit," she paused, "I kinda like his class." From her, this was osmething. She was known as the gril who ended up in detention every other day.

He nodded "I'll think about it over math class,"He said glumly. He hated Math,the teacher made him read all the questions and he was dyslexic.

Occ:// For ther record, I added Mr. Brunner there on purpose....make them closer to the world of the Gods. And maybe he could help 'em to camp.


Shay walked towards the Latin classroom, slinking in the door as Mr. Brunner wheeled his chair towards the board. "Nice of you to join us Mrs. McKinley," he said, looking pale and drawn.

Benny nodded and walked slowly to Math class. he entered a room and the teacher smiled at him not a smile more like an evil smile. "Nice of you to join usss,"The teacher said. but he carried his S like a snake. Benny gulped and nodded. he sat in an empty seat and watched the teacher write words on the chock board. Since Benny was dyslexic,The words were switch around and scrambled.

Shay was worried about him, he seemed sick. She started to open her mouth to ask if he was okay, but he turned back to the board to quickly to say anything. She walked to her seat, worried eyes setting upon the Latin teacher.

Benny opened his math book and flipped through the pages slowly.

Mr.Brunner wrote something on the board, and she squinted, trying to make out the letters written on the board.

Then his teacher turned around and he saw his eyes..but there was something weird about them..they were slits like a snake.

Shay's blue eyes became surprised as Mr. Brunner looked back at her, and asked her to step out into the hall. Her heart pounded as she wondered what this was about; the couldn't have figured about the pencil-thing already! That would make her day - getting punished by the only teacher who she liked remotely. As the door clicked shut behind them, she could already hear the buzz of conversation filling the room.

Mr. Brunner looked around the hallway, as if to make sure nobody was eavesdropping. Shay cocked her head increduosly; what was this about?

"Do you know who you are?"

The sudden question surprised Shay more than the fact that she had to step into the hallway. "What?" she managed to ask, thoroughly confused.

My. Brunner sighed. "I thought as much."

Shay continued staring at him, confusion written all over her face. "Would you mind explaining?" she asked impatiently, unable to take the mystery any longer.

Mr. Brunner opened his mouth to answer, but something obviously scared him, as his face became pale. "Shay, where is your friend?" he demanded.

"Uhh, math class. Room 318, I think," Shay stuttered, now a bit freaked out. She was forced to run all the way to Room 318, as Mr. Brunner had left her behind without explanation, his parting reply to follow.

She found Mr. Brunner calmy in the doorway. "I need to borrow Mr. Anderson for a moment," he said, not sounding like anything was wrong. Shay did catch his gaze locked onto the math teacher, a certain fire in his eyes that frightened her.

The teacher then looked at Mr. Brunner,he straightened up,and nodded "Go ahead,"He said curtly.

Benny quickly grabbed his stuff and walked out of the room quickly. "What's this about?"He whispered to Shay.

"I-I don't know," Shay stuttered. "Mr. Brunner? What is this about?"
