Whisperer nodded. "I admit it. I'm a super." she said softly, smiling. "I can communicate with animals. That's why I'm a zookeeper. And I was saying that the tigers say lots of good things about you. They must like you alot." she smiled and chuck;ed a little bit, then looked down at her feet. "I actually have a friend who's a... not really a superhero, but he has powers somewhat."

"Antihero I assume." said Shadow Rider. "But yes, I think you three could assist me." he said. "Now, do not be frightened by what I'm about to do." he said, melting them all into shadows and speeding off. After taking them to an abandoned warehouse, he rematerilized them. "Sorry, but I had the feeling we were being watched."

Suki stared at him, surprise and delight on her face. "Why be sorry? That was pretty cool," she said.
Kali agreed with Suki, but she was more secluded, and a bit more mature than her. "That was an interesting experience," she said, putting suki's words into a more mature form.

Stinger noticed they had gone, and slammed his fist on the building roof. "Dangit! Lost 'em!" he whispered angrily to himself. He flicked his wings and made them start up again, and he flew himself over to another building, hiding from the folk below when he saw a mysterious-looking man in a tuxedo walking down the street.
Gunner pushed his gun deep in the holster and walked along the streets, his black fedora over his sunglass-hidden eyes. "Where did Whisperer go?" he asked himself, but then shook off the question and lit a cigarette.

Shadow Rider nodded. "Now, you want to know why I think I can trust you?" he asked. "Because I know for a fact that every supervillian in this city are gunning for me and anyone with me, even spies wouldn't be safe." he said. "And I don't think anyone without a heroic motive would join forces with me."

Whisperer assured, "I could never be a supervillain." she even laughed at the idea. "I have no clue how my friend lives with all the people he's gunned down." Then, she caught herself. "He's not a villain though! I promise you. He's just... misdirected. And I'm sure we all have a common motive."

Kali also nodded, her red hair blowing up slightly as she did so. It fell back down as her head stopped, her brown eyes looking at the Shadow Rider. "We all share a common motive, like Whisperer said." she agreed.

Whisperer cautiously walked in, not knowing what to expect. "What is this place?" she asked as her voice echoed. She was afraid of what would happen, and she only knew the Shadow Rider for about five minutes, so she was being extra careful walking in, expecting it to be rigged like in Indiana Jones movies.

The dark hero lead them to an underground base of somekind. "This is the lab were I got my powers." he said. "Its been long abandoned but I remade it into a secret lair." he said. "This is one of the ways I've gotten all over the city so quickly."

"We came in through a secret entrence, I have set up many all over the city." said Shadow Rider. "So I come through here and go out one of them, otherwise, I move in shadow form for short distences but its easier to use this as a hub because I don't need to dodge obstructions or risk being seen as much."

Whisperer nodded to his response, then her gaze strayed upon his desk. "You don't... kill people... do you?" she said with a gulp.
Stinger chuckled in his weird, alien-like tone as he followed the scent of the Shadow Rider and the girls. "I've finally got their lead!" he said to himself through high-pitched chuckles. The lead brought him to the abandoned warehouse they happened to be him. Stinger rubbed his bony hands together thinking, Ha ha ha! I've found them!
Whisperer heard a noise outside, so she swiftly turned her head. "Does anyone else hear something?" she asked, her gaze narrowed at the door.

Shadow Rider shook his head. "No...I don't...not anymore." he said. "I did many things, I'm not proud of before I wore this mask...that's part of the reason I'm doing what I am now...redemption." he said. "I want to redeem myself for my sins." he said. He then heard what she said. "Don't worry, the door shut and hid itself behind us."
