Sadie bounded forward again as Bailey put her down, the new scents making her curioyus. And she was still worried about the people trapped inside the glowing box.

SAdie barked again, softer though. "There's people trapped in there!" she said, staring at it anxiously. She ran up to it, placing her paws on the screen and clawing at it. She couldn't ;et them stay there!

Sadie whined, wanting to leap off the bed. It was too high a jump for her tiny body though, so she sat near the edge, her eyes wide. How was Bailey laughing? Now dogs were trapped inside, this was much worse! She whimpered, laying her ears back and padding back and forth, driven crazy by this.

Bailey turned the TV off, because she saw the poor pup was whimpering and whining. She picked her up, and hugged her again, "You're such a good girl!" she said, "Hold on, I'll go get something." she came back from the other side of the room with a bag of treats, "Sit!" she told Sadie, while helping her sit, and then she gave her a treat. "You can never start learning too early!"

Rufus was still stroking his pup when his parents came in, noticing he was acting weird, and didn't even say "Hi" to them. "Uhh, mom, dad? I found this really cute puppy, well, three cute puppies, and you know, Bailey got one, I got this one, and Nick got the other one. His name's Mischief, and I love him so much, already! He's almost leash-broken already dad, plus, I think he's part German shepherd, see? Look at that golden-brown fur!" he tried to make up a lot of good reasons to keep him.
Mischief looked up, almost asleep, and yipped a small greeting to his owner's parents. He licked Rufus' face, and then panted a little. "See, aren't I adorable?" his expression seemed to scream. He also wagged his tail, and gave a puppy-eyes look, even wolves knew how to do that.
"Pleeease? I saved him, and he's a good dog!" Rufus pleaded.
"Fine, but if he acts up, you have to fix it. And, we might find him a new home, so enjoy him while you can." his father said.

Sadie pawed the soft cloth, making it into a crumpled heap, ignoring Bailey's attempts to tuck it in around her. Instead she lay ontop of the wrinkled pile, her eyes bright and happy, her tail wagging.

"THis is so much better!" she said.

Bailey left her alone with the cloth.Rufus got onto his bed, and flipped through some channels, his pup close beside him. "You're very lucky, Mischief! Maybe I should call you Lucky instead!"


The next moring:
Bailey gently shook the pup awake. "'Mornin" she said.

Sadie yanwed, her tongue curling in her mouth. She relaxed and looked at Bailey, her ears pricked and tail already wagging. She jumped as her stomach growled, and tumbled off the pile of cloth, surprised. She looked around for a moment until she realized it was her who had made that sound, and resumed wagging her tail.

"What's for breakfast?" she yipped.

Sadie stared at the ground that now looked far away, her tail wagging harder at the mention of Mischeif. She surled up in her arm's, snuggling against them.

SAdie nodded. "No problem, it comes naturally for me," she said, laughing. She patted Mischeif on the nose. "Now lets play again!" she cried.
