SHe sucked in a breath, then begin to recite things like it had been said too many times. "They say you are selfish, obnoxious, rude, blood-thirsty, arrogant, merciless, and have hearts made completely of shadow. Whenever night comes, the night wind blows over you, chilling you heart."

Rio gasps. He exclaims, "That is NOT true about us! we can be very nice and good!"

He pauses for a minute. then says, "I hear a lot of things about you too. like you guys like to kill other wolves, also you always like to fight and insult other wolves just for fun! I can tell that isn't true either!"

He jumps up with anger and pounds the floor.

"Calm down Rio! I know it's not true!" she exclaimed. "I don't beleive it on bit, just chill!"

He takes a couple breaths, "I am mad about what my pack is saying about yours!"

He sighs... and thinks.

He says, "sorry for bashing out like that. I think i got just a little bit carried away."

"It's fine," Sadie said, smiling at him hesitantly.

Rio stops, knowing it is late. then he says, "I got to go! Its getting late and i have to get back! If i am out too long they will get suspicious. So I will see you!"

He leaves the cave. he goes and snags a deer and brings it back to headquarters.

When he reaches, he notices something, lots of extra food. There is never that much food here! He thinks.

When he asks a friend where all the food came from, they reply, "We got all of this food from the Pack of Aire! They didnt even SEE us! now... do you want some?"

Rio hesitates, and says, "No i don't want any. Please don't steal from them again!"

Sadie slowly walked out of the cave, stalking and killing a brown and white rabbit and a small deer on her way back. She came to find the camp frantic.

"What hapened?" she asked, her stomach dropping as she saw the now empty food pile. She dropped her catch on the now empty spot.

"WE got stolen from! We found the scent of the Shadow Clan! The alpha is declaring war, and rallying everyone!"

Sadie's stomach dropped farther. "What?" she asked, her blue eyes blank with shock.

"I know! I can;t beleive they would do that!" the grey wolf said, not getting her meaning.

Rio's heart felt pain, he was mad at his friends for taking the food. He thinks, How can I get the food back to them secretly before they eat it all? Then an idea hit him, when no one is looking, he snatches all of the food taken with them, he walks to the cave, and leaves it in there. He plans to give it to Sadie when they meet tomorrow and let her take it back.

When he gets back to the camp to sleep, everyone is frantic, they ask, "Where did all our food from the Pack of Aire go?"

He is startled, and stutters, "I-I saw a b-bear come and s-steal it. I t-tried to stop him, but h-he just mauled me."

They stare at him with a mad expression, then say "I am smelling the food, it smells like YOU! YOU must of ate it!"

He is shocked, "I didn't eat it, i put it in the storage."

They walk away, but still don't believe him.

Later, they come back and stammer, "The Pack of Aire's alpha is declaring WAR on us! We need to go there and Kill them ALL!"

Rio is now very nervous, he says, "Kill them ALL?" Then he thinks, Kill them all? i don't want Sadie killed!!!

Sadie watched the grey wolf walk away, her gaze still shocked. She ran to the cave, slipping out when no one was looking. She walked in, not to find Rio, but to find all of the prey, all of their food. A smile appeared on her face.

Atleast Rio is sweet, she thought, taking most of it with her. She walked back to camp, placing the prey in the pile. A bunch of wolves ran up, staring at it, their eyes wide.

"THey don't guard things well," she explained, giving a convincing smile.

The next day.....

Rio wakes up... Thinking about the war they have declared.
He thinks, Hmm, I have got to warn Sadie! I will tell her in the cave.

Later, in the cave...

He made it in there to see all of the food gone. Good. She took the food back. At least they have food now. Curse my friends!

He sits and waits for Sadie to arrive.

Sadie opened her eyes, the morning sunlight filtering into the den. She padded out softly, slipping out of camp quickly. She made it to the cave.

"Hey Rio, they are declaring war," she said, her face sad and anxious.

He answers, "I know. I heard it from my friends. I got some news for you too... They are planning to KILL everyone on your side!"

He pounds on the ground and wall to get rid of his anger.

He says, "I want to get RID of this feud? We will need to plan something big to get them to actually TALK."

"We don't have anything big, and they are?!"

He says, "Yes they are... which is why we need to get rid of the feud. hmm, lets plan, what should we use? We should prevent everything bad from happening!"

"But how? It's impossible!" she practically snarled.
