Setsuko smiled. "I guess you've never met an Airbender, then. Of course, like I said before, I'm only half, but I can sure as heck still fly!" She turned a wider, freer loop around the tree before retuning to the pattern. Jaci jumped playfully, careful to keep his balance.

"Yeah," Rue agreed, watching Setsuko fly. "Setsuko?" Rue asked. "What is an 'Airbender'?" she asked, her eyes narrowed in curiousity and confusement. Crashing into a tree, hard, seeing non-winged, flying people, and now metions of airbenders, she felt kind of at loss here.

Setsuko looked at Rue as if she'd lost her marbles, but then landed gracefully on a high branch of Jaci's tree. "Sit down, it's easier to explain when I'm not flying," She instructed casually.

Rue alighted in the tree, folding her wings in partway, holding onto the branch loosely. Setsuko was looking at her strangely, like she had gone crazy or something. She had run into a tree, hard, she might have.

"So...are you kidding? You don't know what an Airbender is? Where have you been since, like forever?" She asked somewhat calmly.

"Not around other people," Rue said. "I don't...mingle well," she said, shaking her wings ever so slightly as she said that. "So, yeah, I don't know what an airbender is." she said.

"Hm." Setsuko said, confused. Of course, even if Rue lived in solitude, she would have expected her to know what an Airbender was. "An Airbender is...well, someone who bends air. You know, controls it." She explained, seeing the confused look painted over Rue's face. "My father and I are the only people in the entire world who have Airbender blood. My mom's a Waterbender. I'm....both." She hesitated before adding the last part, she wasn't sure if it was safe to tell Rue. But, she did.

Rue was surprised by this, but awed too. "That is so cool," she said. "Can you do it right now?" Rue asked, wanting to see an example. Her chocolate brown eyes were wide open with excitement, seeing someonebend air and water was not something that happened everyday.

"Which one?" Asked Setsuko. "Waterbending or Airbending?" She twirled her glider, wings folding back into the wooden staff, so that she could set it more comfortably on her lap. At that time, Jaci was balancing carefully on a branch, not wanting to fall. Walking slowly, the Blue Lion moved closer to Setsuko, claws digging into the thin wood.

"Either one, I haven't seen either," Rue said, her eyes completely focused on Setsuko, clinging to the branch more tightly now in her excitement.

Setsuko smirked. "Technically, you just saw Airbending, when I was flying," She informed. Then she shrugged. "I guess I'll show you Waterbending, then." She decided. Taking a deep breath, she moved her hands in a fluid motion. Water condensed out of the air. Very carefully and very calmly, Setsuko moved it around before letting it splash to the ground.

Rue's eyes widened slightly. "Woah," she said, her gaze breaking away from the once moving water that was nopw laying on the floor.

Setsuko blushed sheepishly. "I'm not very good. It's because I'm a bi-bender...I--" She stopped mid-sentence, furious at herself for having said that much. "Well, it's hard to explain. If you want to see really good bending, you should ask my parents. They're both masters." She turned away, a bit embarrassed. Jaci licked her for comfort. Setsuko giggled, cheering up a bit, and ruffled the Blue Lion's thin, growing mane.

"Where are your parents anyway?" Rue asked, looking around. It was already dark, only her raptor vision allowed her to see, it would be hard finding a way back if Setsuko was away from them.

"Somewhere back in the forest. We were camping, and then Jaci and I went to go explore and got lost. We where trying to find out way back when I found you." Setsuko replied. Perhaps her mother had been right, she shouldn't have come out here. But something told her that meeting Rue was meant to happen, and that it never would have happened if she hadn't ventured off.
