"So tell me," Rayna began. "Where exactly is Terra?" In her head, she was thinking about how much more handsome he was up close. He has the kind of voice that no matter what he said, it'd be a joy to hear it.

Ryan just used the lie he had told King BOb. "A far way aways, more than a weeks travel by horse," he said.

That tone. In his voice. Rayna knew he was lying. She knew she had to get the truth out of him before they changed the subject. "How long has your family ruled there?"

"My family goes back for a long time, so, around 100 years or so," he said. He hated lying, he was horrible at it, and it made him feel queasy, but he couldn't help it now.

Rayna was getting frustrated. She stood up face to face with him. "How many servants do you have?"

Unable to think of another lie, he decided to ask a question back. "WHy? How many do you have?"

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Wed Dec 09, 2009 3:05 pm

"8." Rayna answered, her eyes narrowed. Soon, she just sat back down and let out a sigh. "I'm sorry." she said. "I just got that feeling you get when you think someone's lying and I acted on it."

Ryan averted his eyes, guilty. "I understand, it's fine," he said. He wanted to confess, but how would she react?

Rayna looked down at the floor, officially realizing that this was an awkward moment. Then, it hit her. "Are... you lying?"

Windancer · **Posted:** Wed Dec 09, 2009 3:17 pm

Ryan wasn't sure what to say. He was already deep in this mess, so he couldn't tell the truth, but he diddn't want to have to lie to her. The lookon his face was answer enough though

Rayna placed a hand over her mouth. "You're not a prince?" she said. She had a feeling, but she thought, Why should I have to marry a prince, anyway?

Windancer · **Posted:** Wed Dec 09, 2009 3:22 pm

Ryan decided to finally tell the truth. He looked her in the eyes. "No, I'm not," he said.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Wed Dec 09, 2009 3:24 pm

Rayna never wanted to marry a prince anyway. She smiled and couldn't control her happiness. She leaned over and hugged him, but then caught herself and backed up. "Sorry." she apologized again. "It's just, I never wanted to marry a prince. I always wanted to have a normal marriage."

Ryan felt releived that he had gotten the lie out of his system, and that she was ok with it. He smiled at her, his face lighting up. Seeing her drop her arms as she was bout to hug him, he reached forward and hugged her, driven bby a new instinct.
