The creature comes back and says, "You have arrived. Become acquainted with your surroundings, because this is most likely where you will all die." he smiled throughout the sentence.

"Wonderful hospitality," she said with mock sincerity. "Prison, now death. This really couldn't get any better."

The creature teleported them to the front steps, then removed the goo. "Go and choose your cells." he said flatly.

Vetch felt his paws being untethered, so he stretched them out and flexed his claws. He whispered, "Nook, run. You're smaller and can create a distraction for the rest of us to escape too."

Nook stumbled to his paws and flicked his tail. "No way!" he whispered back. "You be the distraction!"

Rue sighed. "Nook, do it or I will personally make sure you will never leave here again," she threatened, raising her lip to show fangs.

He flinched, but then turned around and howled, "HEY, LOOK AT ME! I'M ESCAPING!" and with that, he rushed off, too fast for the lizard.

"There's our cue." Vetch said deviously. "Ready, Rue?"

Rue nodded. Even though they were about to run for their lives, she had to stifle a laugh at how Nook created the distraction. :Let';s go," she said.

Vetch bounded away, his muscles rippling in his legs. He ran behind the lizard, so he'll think they went inside. He saw Rue's flashing fur out of the corner of his eye, so he wasn't afraid to rev it up a little.

Rue followed Vetch, her paws a blur, along with the rest of her. She quickly flew over teh short distance, closing the slight gap between her and Vetch until she was running beside him, their paws moving rythmically.

Suddenly, a gaping hole emerged before Vetch and Rue. A huge creature that looked like a giant bug erupted from the hole. It roared and used one of it's eight limbs to grab Vetch, but it changed direction when it heard...

"HEY BUG BRAIN!" Nook screamed. When the bug turned, Nook stuck out his tongue and blew, making the "PTTTTTHHHHH!" sound.

The bug roared and grabbed Nook, then threw him at the wall of the prison, which was now about a half a mile away.

ooc- Nook is funny....tthey should make a movie of that one part....so I could watch it. Again and again and AGAIN! PTTHHHHHHH!!

Rue swerved around the giant bug, heaidng for Nook. "Nook! Are you ok?" she asked as she ran towards him..

Nook was on the ground, unconscious. His ears were bent, his legs were sprawled out, and his tail was missing a patch of orange and white fur.

"Nook!" Vetch cried. He ten turned his attention to the bug, growling and baring his fangs. "When you mess with the saber, you get the fangs!" he snarled as he jumped onto the bug and dug his fangs into the area where it's heart was supposed to be. He messily ripped the skin away, making the bug screech.

Rue stopped beside Nook, seeing him laying still. "Nook!" she cried. She could see his chest rising and falling and there was no sign of blood, so she figured he had been knocked out. Seeing Vetch dealing with the giant bug, she attcked the giant lizard, needing to vent her anger on someone. She leapt at him, calws outstretched, yowling a battle cry. She landed on him, ripping his scaly skin.

The lizard smiled still, even though he was being eaten alive by Rue. He as even still smiling when he dropped to the ground, dead.

The bug screeched and grabbed Vetch, but since Vetch was holding onto the bug's heart, the bug had ripped out his own heart. The bug screamed as it lowered back into the hole, dropped Vetch on the ground.

Vetch's muzzle was covered in crimson red, and his fangs held the remnants of the creature's heart. He spit out the blood, then looked around. "Rue? Nook?"

ooc- The lizard guy has problems.

Rue got off of the lizard as he dropped to the ground, her fur spattered with its blood, her teeth and claws red. "You ok?" she asked Vetch, staring distastfully at the giant lizard.

Vetch ran over to Rue, his paws and muzzle still messy as well. "Yeah, I'm fine. How's Nook?"
