If you've seen the commercial from Ford called "Bold Moves" you'll hear one of Kelly's new songs called "Go." It sounds really cool, and I cant wait for it to come out.

"Depression" is the theme for majority of the songs. We all know life sucks and they feel the need to throw it back in our face for some unkown reason.

i like kelly clarkson's Gone, Because of You, and Walk Away. I think she is talented. She is not my favorite but I do like her.

If it wasn't for American Idol, she'd still probably be a nobody.

Excuse me? A "nobody"? I've never seen a such type of person. I've heard of somebodies, such as all of us somebodies posting here. People need to seriously stop making fun of her and badgering her just because the only reason she has cds is because she was on American Idol. Atleast she's a good singer. I'm not saying you don't have a right to opinion, but I'm really tired of people saying that Kelly Clarkson would be "nothing" without American Idol. And American Idol would be nothing without Kelly Clarkson!! She's probally sold more albums than any other American Idol winner!! If Kelly Clarkson hadn't shown up, I bet American Idol wouldn't have gotten so much attention.

It's not fair that people say those things when Kelly Clarkson DOES work herself. Just say there was an audition for...dancing. (Just for an example...) So, you wanted (not really YOU just anybody) to try out. (just like the show, "So you think you can dance")And they thought you were awsome, so you went to the next round. And you kept winning rounds and winning rounds, untill you WERE the winner! And people would always say; "Man, if it weren't for (insert show here), (insert name here) would be a nothing right now!" And after you worked your butt off, and persued what you thought was your dream, and someone just went and said a dumb thing like that. You could be emotionaly scarred, you could just stop doing what you like, even though, it is a better thing to be the bigger person and not care.

So, if you weren't expecting a "stupid" post from some kid, this is it...

No, no. I wasn't directing my post right at you. I'm directing it at people who say that Kelly Clarkson would be "nowhere without American Idol".

I know how the contest works and I think it's pathetic. What those wanna be artists are able to do within a couple of months, it takes other bands and artists, who have actual talent, years of playing in bars and clubs to get notice. Heck, even once they do get a good fan base, it'll still probably take them another few years to get signed on to a record label. Even though I don't like them, look at Papa Roach. It took them seven years to finally get signed on to a label and release Infest. I would like to see those AI artists do that.

And those judges on AI are full of it. Like I said in another thread, they have a thing of judging people on how they look and not talent. There were a set of triplets who harmonized really good, but Simon voted no because of them "being fat." Yeah, they're some really good judges. Really, I don't like the idea of having America be the judge of who gets a career and who doesn't. Not with the bands and artists that's out now.

I still stand by my opinion of Kelly being nowhere without AI.

Agreed. She has a beautiful voice, so why do you diss her, CLV? You're saying that she doesn't have "actual talent"? Pfft, I've heard that so many times before about her; just because she became a singer through American Idol...well, to me, that has nothing to do with talent. That may or may not be what you are thinking, but either way, she can definately sing, much better than most artists who have "actual talent", in my opinion.
