Actually we just sent another 20,000 some odd troops to Iraq. I'll probably be next in line for the next deployment aswell.

Did Obama promise to take all troops out of Iraq his third day in office? He wants to stabilize it before he leaves, because regardless of how we got there it wasn't going to last in its condition.

Another thing; what exactly has the Republican party done in the eight years they held the oval office that was good?

Give Obama time, he's less than a quarter of a way through his first term. What he's dong took 8+ years to create, it's not going to be magically better one day.
