I do like the menance look of this guy. I do think we could use him on an episode. could you elaborate a little bit on his behavious , past and ideas as well as what are his intentions?

His superstisous nature can also be used against him, as it makes him prone to freaking out over things others consider minor, like spilt salt or a black cat.
Traits, Talents, and abilities: Expert pilot, good street fighting, over powering odor can be useful in a close range fight, expert at cheating.
Relatives: none known.

The perpose of the wolverine is they're both considered a particularally nasty animal and myth has it they may challenge bears often, which of course our main hero is a bear. The foul odor is due to a natural trait of wolverines that I was able to work in realitively well with the superstisous thing, which seemed like a good way to add some comic nature to the character, as well as giving him an effective weakness for our heroes to exploit.

Hi,

Artist newbie here. I was wondering if there are any OC's that need to be developed visually, ie: character design and etc... for me to work on? Other than reading the script for the pilot, I'm not sure what to do next. Thanks! :wink:

Here's a list of the OCs appearing in the 2nd pilot: (I'll add more detailed descriptions soon.)

Major characters:
-Griffith - The con man hired by Perry who tricks Rebecca into losing H4H. Serves as the antagonist of the story.
-Jarrett - The rival pilot who serves as Baloo's main enemy, later teaming up with Griffith.

Incidental Characters:
-Sheriff (The sheriff of Raceville)
-Frankie (Griffith's henchman)
-Banker (the banker who forecloses on H4H)
-Officer (a CS police officer working on the Griffith case)
-Sergeant (the CS police sergeant working on the Griffith case)
-Man (the nameless resident of Raceville who Baloo meets in the ticket line)
-Thug #1 and #2 (the two thugs working for Perry)

There's sketches of the major characters, but not the minor ones, and there's no model sheets for any of the OCs yet. If someone is good at doing model sheets, maybe they could help with that. The design and details will largely be up to the artist to decide. As long as the character looks right tn the part, it's usually fine with me.

Are there any written descriptions of what these characters should look like? Such as their animal-types? Or is this still up in the air?

I think I read above that Jarret is a wolverine, is that right? I'm uncertain about all the others however.

Griffith and Jarrett are the only OCs that have been developed at all. You're correct that Jarrett is a wolverine, and Griffith is a jackal if I'm not mistaken.

Griffith:

Species: jackal
Gender: male
Age: late 30s
Build: average
Height: average (about a head shorter than Baloo)
Demeanor: Intelligent professional con artist. Able to seem sincere even while telling an enormous lie. Dresses nicely in a suit and tie. Carries himself with confidence.

Jarrett:

(Sorry the picture is so small.)

Species: wolverine
Gender: male
Age: early 30s
Build: Big, but not huge.
Height: a tiny bit taller than Griffith
Demeanor: Standoffish, aggressive, rude, etc...

As for the rest of them, it's still pretty much up in the air. I'm not too picky about the animal types as long as it fits their personality and doesn't look too strange standing next to the other characters. Ex: A strong loyal person might be a dog or bear, a sneaky conniving person might be a weasel, or a cold calculating person might be a tiger.

I'll come back soon and add brief descriptions of the other minor characters.

@godzillawolf: Could you help with thin as well?

If you could write profiles and descriptions for the minor characters to help the artists make concept sketches of them, it would be very helpful.

Today (well,yesterday) I tried to draw Jarrett from Eclipse's picture,..well,the same.
And tried adding him (Jarrett) a collar.And redraw him a bit (tried to make him looking less human-like). Not drawn- glasses and brace knuckles.

Ehm,..I would be glad to see how "brace knuckles" are looking.I can't draw them now.
And what kind of glasses does he have? (sure,maybe strange question,-he is a pilot,but maybe he is wearing sunglasses?

)

That's a very good start! I'm impressed! Only... He looks more like a bear when he's supposed to be a wolverine. Btw, don't worry about brass knuckles, those got scrapped. (I'm not sure exactly when...) And feel free to play around with the character design. Nothing is set in stone yet.

A wolverine is kind of a cross between a bear, a skunk, a cat, and a tornado!

Okay, I was planning to try to sketch Jarret this week so here he is. This is just a rough concept. He is wearing aviator goggles, a flight jacket and a spiked collar.
