Russet's speed grew as he saw his son's tiny figure growing bigger until he was almost near him. "Keano get over here now!" he yelled.

Jullian ran to his mother. "Mooom!" he complained, "Look what Dee did to my fur!" He turned around and showed the missing patches ripped out of his back next to him.

"Liar! It was you, Dee!" Jullian grumbled.

Lia sighed and walked into the den.

"You left marks from your claws. Scratch a tree and then Shay does the same. Whom ever's marks look like the ones on my back scratched all the fur off. If I'm right and you're a liar, you can't play with us until a full moon! Right mom?" Jullian turned to grin innocentely at his mother.

Russet grew imaptient and tired. He slowed down and yelped, trying to grab Keano's attention, though he wasn't hurt. He whimpered and licked his paw.

Jullian grinned. "What?.... I didn't hear you. Wazzat?"

Russet grinned a very little bit, so Keano wouldn't see. "I think my paw's twisted." He winced.

"I might need some help. Home's pretty far off and it's more tiring to hop all the way back by myself." Russet whimpered and winced again.

Jullian smiled and spat, "I thought so! You little liar! Serves you right!"

"I heard you, Dee! You just deserve what you're getting."

Russet looked up at him in confusion. "Can't you just help me? Your mother has to watch your siblings, anyways, so that wouldn't help."

"Come here, first."

"I need to lean on you a bit for support. Get closer."
