My Shadow

Gold Eagle walked down the street, Sora on his shoulder. He'd been traveling for awhile before now, searching for his tribes lost secret, but to now avial. He arrived home and opened the door only to find a note laying behind his door. He picked it up and looked at it. "At last." he said. "But perhaps this is not the best option, we must see." he picked up a tomahawk, he always carried it now to protect himself from the wild shadows. He'd been told by his tribe it was a sacred relic that could ward off spirits that'd try to cause him harm, he'd never had to test it with wild shadows but it was better than being unarmed.

Sora nodded. "I agree my master." she said. "We should go see him." she said, Gold Eagle nodded and they went torwards Sano's home.

Martha yawned, getting up. Sally was at the foot of her bed. She yawned and stood up.

Sally yawned and woke up herself, smiling to her master. Despite everything, including Martha's feelings about the shadows, they were close.

Shadow rolled his eyes at Riley. "Meat," he said a-matter-a-factily. he then sniffed the fridge and flinched. "What smells so bad?" he huffed looking at her.

Bic:// Cassie sighed at Bridget. "You could at least try to be a bit more reasonable," she said just before Frisk came in and jumped ont her head. Cassie smiled up at her mouse friend, though she couldn't really see her given the mouse's position on Cassie's head. "Sure," she said. "I'd be happy too." Cassie wasn't really scared of the two, like some people were. "Bree. I'll be back."

Bridget sat down at the kitchen table and waved a hand at Cassie. "Just don't take too long. You know I don't like you being too far away for too long," she warned. Bree hated not having Cassie at her said at all times.

"I wouldn't even if I could," Cassie said, referring to how Shadows and their mater's couldn't be so far apart for long. She trotted out of the back door that opened easily. She trotted along the street with Frisk still a top her head. "Any idea where the duo might be?" she asked, looking around and in random allies.

Cali heard the faint scratching of mouse paws coming from the front porch. She smiled slyly and raced out of Katie's room and down stairs to the front of the house. When she reached the door, the mouse was already gone, or so Cali thought since she couldn't opened the door nor see through it. She spotted a piece of paper under the door and grabbed it in her teeth. She ran back up to Katie.

"What was that about?" Katie asked angrily. She hated it when Cali just ran off. Cali answered by placing the note at Katie's feet. Katie picked it up and read it. "Well, girl, it looks like we're going out today," she said. "Sano found something" She folded the note and put it in her pocket, not wanting to tell Cali what it was that Sano had found out.

Riley sniffed the air. THere was a sour scent in the air, she hadn't noticed it before. She wrinkled her nose, opening the fridge. The scent got stronger, and she almost gagged. She searched the fridge, her eyes watering, trying to hold her breath. She founmd the souce quickly, and held up an old block of cheese, covered with green mold. "Eeeww," she said, tossing it in the trash. She also got out a piece of meat, glad that the smell form the mold was subdued somewhat. She held up the large steak, just out of reach from Shadow.

Kain came out of the ally way right infront of Cassie and Frisk.
Yin turned to face the other two shadows, his tail flicking side to side as his cold yellow slited eyes stared at them.
Kain turned to face the shadows, with his hands in his pockets. He glared at the two. "What do you want?" He asked his voice harsh and cold.

Frisk flinched at Kain's mean words and she crawled back a little.

"Frisk as a note for you from Sano," Cassie explained calmly. She was wary of the two, but not exactly scared of them. She nodded at Frisk to give Kain the note.

Cali smiled brightly to be getting out of the house and quickly crawled into Katie' black shoulder bag that she took with her everywhere she went. Cali's tiny legs couldn't keep up with Katie's walk, so they found that it was easier and much faster if Katie just carried Cali whenever they went somewhere.

Katie careful swung the bag onto her shoulder and walked down the stairs and out the front door. She made her way down the sidewalk. All of them lived fairly closed together, only a few blocks away from each other's houses. It took a few minutes for Sano's house to come into sight.

He growled the jumped and grabbed the stake from Riley. helayed down and started gnawing on the stake. he started ripping it apart and ate it. he then got up and shook his fur.

Gold Eagle dashed along, Sora flying overhead, keeping lookout. "See anything?" he asked.

Sora looked around and saw Sano's house coming up. "Sano's house up ahead." she said, she then saw Katie. "Katie heading that way too." she said, she flew down and hoved near her. "Hello Katie, Gold Eagle is on his way."

Martha ate her breakfast and headed to the door, finding the note. "Hopefully this is good news." she said. She let Sally read it, the skunk nodded. She picked her up and walked out towards Sano's house, not worrying too much, even Wild Shadows didn't like getting sprayed by a skunk.

ay Walked out the house, Avoiding the main room like the plague. He Saw the note on his lawn and picked it up, His eyes quickly skikmmed it and he glared at it. He Suddenly tore it in half and threw it into the dustbin angrily "They're Not ending you back" he snapped, You refering to soul but his rant was directed at noone in particular "They Cant, I wont let them"

Soul sighed and said nothing, Knwoing It was best not to intefere wirth ays temper "Why dont you let them explain?" he sugegsted When ay had finnally calmed down a bit.

Jay Growled but nodded and started off. He saw Martha wlking after a while and scrambled up "Hey martha" he smiled.

Sould rolled his eyes "Hey Sally" he called up to Marhas Shadow.

Ril;ey smiled at Shadow, a easing look stil on her face. "Come on Shad," she said, using her pet name for him. "Let's go find the others, nothing much around here to do," she said. Without waiting for him to answer, she got up and walked to the door, opening it and letting in a fresh blast of cool, morning air that blew her light hair back. She saw a note outside, and picked it up, suriousity suddenly burning in her bright green eyes. She unfolded it, reading the messy writing. She stared at the words, then dropped the note, throwing it the trash. "All the more reason to find them," she said.

Katie looked up to see a large golden eagle came down to fly next to her. Sora was a sure sign that Gold Eagle was on his way. Katie smiled at the eagle. "Did you guys get the note from Sano too?" she asked, already guessing at the answer to that question.

Cali swatted at a small golden feather that fell from Sora's body. She mewed as the wind blew it out of her reach. She looked up at Sora with large, kitten eyes.

Martha looked at Ay. "Hey...guess you got the message too?"

Shadow looked at Riley and nodded. "I guess so,"He groaned and walked out the door. He looked back and waited for Riley to follow him. He shook his fur "Come on,"He said still walking but eventually stopped and waited for her.

"I'm coming," Riley said, walking after him. She opened the door and walked out, her fair hair glinting in the morning sun. She walked into the yard off her small proch, the grass brown and dying, with onlly a few spots of green in it, scattered around comically.

"Painful" smirked Soul, ROlling His eyes and nodding to Jay. He Kepot up easily with both humans, Personally hinking Jey was being pathetic.

"Yeah" muttered Jay mutinously "But They're not sendimg Sould back" he said stubbornly.
