And that will be a story I will eagerly wait to read. Much like Xaqtly, there have been many people who have written stories about what happened to Steele, or at the very least mentioned it in passing.

Personally, I think he'd get the heck out of there to avoid the angry mob that had realized he was a liar, and had actually tried to sabotage the team. That is, if he wasn't chased away first. And yes, I did turn that idea into a story, and if you want to read it, just look in my fanfic section on the site.

I think,Steele don't leaves Noam,fell in love with an dog,has Pups,also very normaly,like Balto,and after five Years he died .

Well, everybody has their own idea about what happened to Steele after the movie, since the movie didn't follow up with him. I'm getting close to finishing my story about it (it's already past 20,000 words), so you'll be able to read my take on it hopefully soon.

In the meantime, here's something to think about. In Balto, it's mentioned that Steele won the Golden Collar a number of times. So he's probably pretty well known at least in that section of Alaska. If Steele were banished from Nome because of his actions during the serum run, how far away do you think he would have to go before he found a place where nobody had heard of him?

Everybody in Alaska had heard of the serum run, and how (in the context of the movie) Steele had not only failed to bring the medicine back, but left his team and his musher to die on the mountain. If he made it to another town, what do you think their reaction would be once they realized who he was? And how would Steele deal with that?

Steele probably got out of the boiler room but i'm sure he ran out of town because everybody hated him.

I've always imagined that Steele's master retired him as a sled dog (he mentioned Steele getting old in the movie), so in my mind, Steele ended up retired, neutered, and alone.

Steele left and became a loner...........swallowed by his own pride he plans to one day KILL BALTO!

Probarably everyone avoided him and hang out with Balto instead, and Steele will probrably will not have mate, guess he will die alone, TOO BAD FOR HIM!!!

we can never offically tell, really! Heck, for all we know he could shill be in the heating shed! All we can say is 'he's not present'
