"I," Nightstar said dramatically, hardly containing her excitement, "I talked to Ohzu!"

"ok," said Silversnow,"but I talked to DAVID!" She grinned and a small giggle escaped. She tried to stand up but ended up falling over. She sat up and waited for an answer.

Nightstar giggled. "David? Are you sure? He never talks to the girl puppies!"

"He said he took a wrong turn, but he looked embarrased to be here." Silversnow replied happily. "And he's cute!

"Not like Ohzu," Nightstar said in her dreamy voice, and for a moment the warmth returned, massaging her face, and then it left.

"uh, you're, uh, nevermind," said Silversnow. " Anyways, David is cuter than Ozhu, atleast to me he is!"

Nightstar frowned. How dare she say....oh well. "Hey Silversnow, is you paw getting better?" She asked, trying to turn the conversation.

Silversnow could tell she was a bit angry about what she had said so she followed along. "I guess so. I just wish I could play. It's borinig here!"

"Can you?" Nightstar asked, not meeting the silver pup's gaze. "I mean, is it better enough for you to run or something?"

"Maybe," she said staring at Nightstar. She stood up and immediatly began sagging to the right. Nightstar came over and helped support her.

"I guess not," replied Nightstar sadly. "Oh well. Can you get out to eat, or will food have to be brought to you?"

"Speakin of food I'm hungry," looking hopefully at Nightstar.

"The dinner patrol just left," Nightstar reported, "So you'll get your wish soon, if they catch anything."

Silversnow's stomach growled, startling them both. They spun aroiund as a voice said, "Silversnow?!"

It was David. Nightstar stared. Since when did David actually talk to the girl pups? "I'll be right back," She told Silversnow, and ran off to find Ohzu.
