# Name: All Dogs Go To Heaven # Film or Series: Three movies and a later animated series # General Information: All Dogs Go To Heaven is the story of two dogs and a girl. Charlie B. Barkin, a misguided German Shepherd mix, and his ever loyal best friend Itchy Itchiford, a Dachshund, make their way back from jail to find that Charlie's business partner Carface Carruthers, a bulldog mix, has taken over their casino. Carface worries that Charlie will want his share of the money and murders him. Charlie arrives in heaven even though he's never done a good deed in his life, because all dogs go to heaven due to their natrually good nature. Naturally, he's unhappy that he died before his time. He steals his "life" back (symbolized by a golden pocketwatch) so that he can be alive again and take revenge on Carface. But getting his life back comes at a heavy cost - as long as the watch ticks, he lives, but when he dies he'll go to hell. He and Itchy set up a rival casino to Carface's, but they cannot open it without money. In the process, they steal Anne-Marie, a little girl who can talk to all of the animals and act as a translator for them, from Carface with the promise of finding her a family. They use her talents to get money by having her talk to the winners of horse races, etc. and then betting on the winner. Carface realizes what's become of Anne-Marie and tries to get her back. A desperate struggle develops over her, which ends up being nearly lethal to her and Charlie is tested to his very core and must choose to save her life, or his own. A sequel movie (All Dogs Go To Heaven 2) follows Charlie's and Itchy's later adventures and introduces Sasha, his love interest. In this movie, Charlie must retrieve Gabriel's Horn, or else all of the good dogs in Heaven will be trapped on earth by Red, an evil cat akin to a satan figure. (Good detail left out to try and avoid ruining the ending of the first movie). A third movie followed (An All Dogs Christmas Carol) and coincided with the series. It acted as a kind of Christmas special for the series, spoofing the famous Charles Dickens story. A series followed the two movies, which was played on the Disney Channel for a little while, but was discontinued because the ratings were low. It follows the adventures of Charlie, Itchy, Sasha, and the rest of the dogs in San Francisco, whose lives are often made more complicated by Carface and his lackey Killer. # Owner/Producing company: MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer) Family Entertainment # Link to the film/series Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Dogs_Go_To_Heavenhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Dogs_Go_to_Heaven_2http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_All_Dog ... tmas_Carolhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Dogs_G ... The_Series# Why should we add it? Well, for one, a great deal of the members of Balto Source are/were also big fans of All Dogs Go To Heaven, and this is evident in the fan art around BS. Many artists have drawn in ADGTH characters along with their Balto fanart, just to show their support. Most notably, Dzhei.si (formerly JayC) has included Charlie and Sasha in many of their drawings, and their main character and the most evident face in the gallery, O.J. is the fan son of Charlie and Sasha. http://www.animationsource.org/balto/en ... i/874.htmlhttp://www.animationsource.org/balto/en ... n/450.htmlIn addition to this, ADGTH is a jewel amongst animated films, and one of Don Bluth's most notable creations. Despite many of the hillarious scenarios, which in our world typically would not be deemed suitable for a PG children's film but in the '80s were perfectly fine, it manages to stay fairly "clean" and "wholesome", even teaching values and morals in an unorthodox way. It really is a wonderful animated film.

The ones I most support are - Spirit Source, and Bambi Source (for obvious reasons ) I also wondered if the Lady and the Tramp source might be conbined with a 101 Dalmations Source since they are both in the "house pets" genre.

Bolt Source and Toy Story Source were suggested and they have 3D animation, but steet didn't say anything, so I just thought this would be accepted too. (Not sure if Conay is correct or not but...and I doubt Steet will make a Bolt Source. Just my guessing. )

Yes, he's correct. For now I believe the Animation Sources will only be for 2D Animation Films. Bolt is more 3D.

Name: Road Rovers Film or Series: Series (13 episodes) General Information: Road Rovers was an animated series on Kids WB that ran from 1996 to 1997. Created by Tom Ruegger, the series followed a team of super-powered crime-fighting anthropomorphic dogs known as "Cano Sapiens". The team was created by the mysterious Professor Shepard (known to the rovers as "The Master") to help fight against criminals, chiefly the diabolical General Parvo, who wishes to take over the world using his army of "Cano-Mutants" Owner/Producing Company: Warner Brothers Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_RoversWhy we should add it: Road Rovers is one of those animated gems that wasn't given the chance to realize it's full potential (Kind of like Balto). It had a great sense of humor and a memorable cast of characters, but unfortunately, it was canceled after only one season. Warner Brothers claims it was due to low ratings, but the show was the second most popular WB program. The real reason was probably because some of the jokes in the show were a little more mature than parents liked, with the most famous example being the "Russian Names" song. There are already several members on Animation Source who are fans of the show, including Dragon Tamer, who has a series of Road Rovers fanfics on Balto Source, so there wouldn't be any problem finding people who would be interested in this great series.
