windows runs on macs if you buy a copy of windows and buy something like parallels desktop or just bootcamp which comes with your mac. Though I'd use MS virtual pc.

Kaspersky. Unfortunately it slows my computer down a lot when it's running a Full Scan, but this can be fixed.
I myself was very unhappy with Norton Antivirus when I had it as it hogged CPU resources all the time when it didn't need to, therefore making things slow all the ***** time. Thus, I am also of the opinion Norton sucks.

so now I got a wondows 7 partition and my free AVG trial is about to run out. I've been hearing a lot of suggestions:

Trend Micro
McAfee
Avast
Norton
Threadfire
Avira
Nod32
AVG
Kaspersky

I'd stick with AVG if I can, but I just want to look into it more. Not hearing too many good things about Norton and Avast. I've never quite heard of of Trend Micro, Nod32, and Threadfire. So far, I'm seeing Avira, but I don't want to have to install any secondary programs. Is this possible? if I can get a full version anyhow and not a cheap trial version, that would also be a big plus.

Also, for what it's worth, ClamXav is a very good Mac-based malware notification program. Been using it for a while now. :mrgreen:

Like I said, I'd much rather stick with AVG if I can help it, but my subscription is going to run out as of next week.

By the way, why do you capitalize the first letter of almost every word? O_o
