Jack stared at Haley, surprised that she just said she would go with him, of course he didn't want her to go on such a dangerous adventure, he didn't want her to get hurt, but she was not going to let him go unless he went with somebody and she was the only one that would do it, he sighed because he knew that Haley wouldn't give up." Fine, you'll go with Silver...But before we go you must promise that you'll stay as safe as possible and you will use the gun I'll give to you only if you don't have another option." He gave her one of his two guns, he still thought it was not a good idea to let Haley expose herself to danger like that, but he had no other option but to let her.
Raoul thought for a while, Fraya was right, the hunter was not going to let them go and it was too dangerous to face him while he carried his gun."Well...I won't lie to you...I don't think we'll be able to go unnoticed so we'll have to be really cautious when we move, we have to be careful with our steps and just like he is on the alert for us we must be on the alert for him, we need to avoid going near him. It's not going to be easy, but I know we'll make it."

Haley hopeful smiled disappeared when she hears his sigh. She knew it. He wasn't going to let her go. She perked up as soon as the words were out of Jack's mouth. She nodded eagerly as he told her to take the gun. She took the gun her hand, not sure what to do with it. It felt so dangerous in her unexperienced hand. She looked back up at Jack. "I'll do whatever you say," she promised him. She smiled birghtly even though she was probably getting herself into the biggest danger ever. She was about to hug him, but then remembered his still bleeding arm. She looked down at it. "We should get that cleaned up before it gets infected," she said.
Fraya sighed, believing in Raoul's hopeful words but still doubting that they could go through without being caught. She glanced up at Raoul than back down to her paws. "What do you think we'll find?" she finally asked. "I mean, what should we look for if we get to the human den? What could prove that it was the bear and not me?"

Jack looked down at his arm, he had to admit his wound was hurting pretty bad, but he didn't want to waste anytime that he could spend looking for his revenge, he was about to say no but he knew that Haley wouldn't let him go like that and besides it would be better if something was done to his wound. He nodded slowly."Yeah, that's a good idea. Do you have everything you need to do it?"
For the first time yet, Raoul tried to imagine the scene of the human den, all covered in blood and the humans that lived in it lying in the floor... It was a horrible vision, he felt bad for Fraya, no one ever needs to see something like that, she sure was on the wrong place at the wrong moment. He tried to think of what could prove Fraya's innocence."Well...I'm not sure, but there must be something there, I mean...a bear must leave some tracks or something, we'll have to wait until we get there to be sure."
