It irriates me a little when people are all BAWWWW over something cute or pretty, like a wolf, dog, cat etc. ... but as soon as it comes to gross, ugly INSECTS - no one gives a crap. I agree, PETA is freaking insane and flies ARE pest animals - but so are wolves, and when someone kills them for being pest animals, everyone throws a fit over it. Yeah, flies don't live long, but that doesn't mean they're not as important as every other animal on the planet. All animals are equal - but only the cute pretty ones get the attention. Animal cruelty is wrong - no matter who the target is. Be it dogs, cats, sharks, snakes, spiders, donkeys, rats, bears, monkies, grasshoppers or whales.. it's just wrong. Anyone who can hurt an animal can hurt a human. /rant

and what if someone steps on a ant?... It wasn't my fault he was on my tile flooring xD
