Nakita ran to the house in which her mother lived excited, "Mom! I just got accepted as the lead dog on the sled team!" She panted hardly as Nakita's tail was wagging furriously.
Tony trotted through town and looked in the window of Nakitas mothers house, 'Hehe, new member is excited eh? I don't like dogs who get excited like that.' He sighed and turned away and ran nose to nose with his older sister, " What do you want now Jen?" He asked her.
"Well, have you met the new girl yet?" She asked with sor of a country accent, " Well, she's a darlin'. You should talk to her." She smiled.
" Well, I already did. After the musher accepted her as lead dog, I went up to her and said hi, but, she just said hi back and then walked away. I didn't really like her. She looked rude." Tony snorted at his sister.
She gasped, " Don't give me that attitude." She said after she pined him down, " Just because you only said hi to her, doesn't mean she's not a good dog. Give her a chance." She got off of him, " Because, it looks like she likes you. She told me." She smiled at Tony.
He saw her smile on her face, " Don't give me that smile Jenny. You're just tryin' to get us to get together. Uhuh. Not gonna happen." He said and walked away, 'Why does she have to ruin everything!? Sometimes I just hate her! Ugh! Why does life have to suck so much?!' He sighed angrily and heard his sister yell something at him.
"You'll regret it!" She turned away and went to the barn giggling, 'He totally likes her. Hehe.' She thought to herself while laughing out loud."

Lahke turned towards the door when she heard her daughter,Nakita,coming,all happy and excited.She slowly stood up and nuzzled her daughter,then listened of what Nakita said.Lahke was really happy with what she heard.She smiled and hugged her beloved daughter lovingly."Congratulations,my sweet Nakita!I'm glad you're accepted.You'll do a great job as a sled dog,I'm sure of that."she smiled."Are team members good,nice with you?"she asked,curious.She wanted her daughter to be happy and have a lot of friends.

Sadie ran happily around, stopping every so often to sniff the air. She saw Jenny and bounded up "Hey Jen" she barked to her friend "B-e-a-utiful day isn't it?" she commented.
Roland walked along, trying to look reserved a coll bu desperatly wanting to go for a run. He sat down near the musher and eyed Tony.

Jenny looked at her friend, " I'm doing good Sadie. Yeah. I guess it is a beautiful day isn't it? How are you doing?" They were now walking together.

Wryda stood a few paced away from his new musher. His mind was wondering back to his old team, thinking about what they might be up to. When he noticed the other dogs around he brought himself back to reality and sat down calmly. His face was expressionless, hiding his wish to run long and fast. He shuffled his front paws automaticly when he thought about running.

Nakita went out side and ran to Tony and walked up to him, "Um, I know that we got off on a bad foot here, and I wanted to start new. Hi. My name is Nakita. What's yours?" She asked him.
'Why is she talking to me, and what does she want?! But, then again. I do like her a little bit. I can't let her know though.' He sighed, " I'm Tony. Nice to meet you Nakita. Wanna be f-f-f-frien-friends?" He shook as he asked her. He was popular, and she was not. Plus he didn't want to be seen talking to her.
" Thanks. Yeah. I'd love to be friends with you. Nice to meet you also." She sighed and ran off to a dark ally where she lived. She lived there because she didn't have a home. That was like a home to her. She had to go to her mothers house for food.

Lahke saw as her daughter ran out and started to talk with another dog.She heard her conversation with him and smiled."It didn't seem like that.It looks like that dog kinda likes her,but is just a bit selfish.Well anyway,I hope she'll be okay..."Lahke smiled as these thoughts ran though her mind.She walked back to another room to eat.She ate dog food from her bowl and drank some water.Then smiled and went out of the house.She walked straight to the sled team where Nakita is in.She walked up to the dog Nakita was talking with before and smiled."Good day,boy.Umm,can I get to know your name?"she asked,smiling.She needed to know him better.To see if he's as bad as Nakita said.Maybe she just doesn't know what that dog is feeling...Deep in her heart Lahke hoped him to be good dog...To Nakita and everyone else.

Sadie walked next to Jen wth a slight spring in her step. She nodded "I'm fine, As always" she comented. Her sharp eyes spotted Roland and she smiled slightly dreamily.
Roland sniggered slightly at Tony shaking "Don't be too eager" he called.

Jess stayed close to the musher's side. She was protective of her. When her original owner, Anita, had died because of cancer, Jess had been very protective of her musher every since. She looked of to a few other dogs taking, playing, and having fun. She layed down, and put her head on her front paws, and sighed.

Wryda watched as the other dogs talked and seemed to get along. Except for one, he wasn't sure of her name, but she just lay next to their musher. That didn't mean he was about to go talk to her however. He was planning to make his transition into his new team as difficult as he could for his new musher. However he wouldn't risk her or the other dog's lives. Wryda wasn't completely heartless. He sighed deeply wanting to start running already, boardom was sinking in. Now he was starting to rethink his plan, being sold again could land him far away from any place with sledding and he'd never see his team again. He was now thinking that the best way to get back was to do his best and eventually run into his old team. Then he would run away. That could be a while though, so for now he decided to do his best. "Dang boardom." He muttered shifting his weight to his right front paw

A husky padded around, whinning in her mind about how no husky talks to her. She understood that she was annoying, but she loved being in the center of attention. She sat down and looked at others. She sighed. Mergina searched for someone to talk. She walked up to Tony, but saw that he's already talking to someone. Mergina rolled her eyes, and walked up to him," Hi." She smiled. " I'am sorry if I'am interrupting, it's just that I'am bored. I wanted to talk with someone."

Roland looked up and smiled, He couldn't help thinking that is dog was cute...And that Tony would like her. He chuckled and walked off.
