I love disturbing games with extremely challenging riddles^^ silent hill 2, 3 and 5 got most disturbing game of the year and most challenging in the years they came out which im pleased about, but home coming would have to be most challenging of the silent hill serise, theres a real silent hill town in west virginia, if you look it up you will find it, me and my friends wanna go bad but some left from there but most died so yeah messed up but awesome^^

The most terrifying game I have ever played was Alone In The Dark, I choose this game because... well, this game is good makes people surprised with the monsters and ghosts comes out suddendly.
I never played this game alone, I always ask my friend to stay with me when I playing this game.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned the Fatal Frame series. Sure that it's not as bloody as Silent Hill nor as gory as Resident Evil but the novelty of FF is that you can't just plummet things with metal pipes nor hardcore guns, how would you like to use something that can't end up killing yourself? A camera instead? I totally love how you have to directly confront the vengeful spirits literally face-to-face and not from a third-person view, it's terrifying in its own way. The plot is quite good for the Survival Horror genre as well.

Aww... that's so terrifying, xD.
I remember that I ever played a 3D video game about a diver with a gun and the final boss was a huge white shark, too bad... I got the diver eaten too.
