I love TaleSpin for its characters and scenarios. Really what got me into the show and why I love the show is Don Karnage. When I was little I loved villains, pirates, foxes, and wolves. Karnage was the combination of everything that I loved. For me what makes a TV show/movie is the villain and for me Karnage was the greatest.
I loved the scenarios of the show especially for the way it introduces a child to violence in a healthy way that only Disney can. There is violence all over the world and to me the worst possible thing you could do to teach a child what is wrong is by completely sheltering him/her from it. As a child you like to see things or touch things and more often than not you don't grasp a spoken word as well as you do when it is aided by a picture or object. In TaleSpin you have shooting, explosions, ransacking cities, and kidnapping. This is stuff they wouldn't dare show on a kids show anymore with how sue happy people have become.
What all of this means overall is that TaleSpin was an enormous part of my childhood and it helped shape me as a person. There will never be another show like it and you will never see such icnoic characters(which are so overlooked) as what TaleSpin offers us.
