I didn't mean that way. I meant it in an afterlife sense, if you see what I mean.

I know that's what you meant. But again, you have to be careful when talking about that in a place like this.

Besides, the fact is that no one knows with total certainty. Many think they know. It is, in my opinion, pure arrogance for anyone to say or even presume they "know" what awaits them beyond death's door. Faith is one thing..."knowing" is entirely different. And it is a simple fact that no one actually knows.

I wish I could say I was surprised to hear that, although I've heard it too often. But I won't get into that here.

Three prayer requests:
1) The place where I work, a ski resort, is entering the final stretch for the year when they start to lay people off because they don't have enough business. So I need a new Job, and soon.
2) The wi-fi signal neaest my house won't connect anymore, so I'll have to get an antenna to pull in signals from farther away. Pray that I'll be able to find one for a good price.
3) I'm come to a near-dead halt in my writing, especially on the Toby series. While they are not my only ideas at the moment, I know people look forward to them. So please pray that I'll get some inspiration soon.

A friend of a friend recently suffered a small heart attack and is in the hospital. Please pray for a swift recovery.

UPDATE: Prayers answered. The person is fine now.
