The Long Shot [Police Dog Rp - ADVANCED] [CLOSED]

((Ok. Needed to know.))

Just like yesterday, rain pelted from the sky, hitting the ground
with a small sound. Aminta looked out of a window, as the sky
seemed to mezmorize her as it did its work. It was no diffrent
thn yesterday. Oh wait, one think was missing- Buster. Aminta
sighed with sadness as she thought about the doberman.

Boy, of Aminta though she was the sadest, she was wrong. One
dog by the name of Harley was probably the most heartbroken. She
and Buster were partners, and she saw Buster die. Aminta sighed as
she wished that accident never happened. Aminta tore her eyes away
from the window, prancing out of a doggie-door and was now in a hallway.

Aminta begain the travel along the hallway. She could hear the rain thumping
on the roof, and sience no one was walking along the hallwys besides herself,
it almost seemed eerie. She was trying to figure out which room Harley would
be in, just so she could talk to her.

Sarge walked up to the grave. He put an old collar, about the size as a 2 year old dog would wear, on the grave. It had been Buster's when he'd first arrived. Sarge, despite not seeming the sentamental type, kept the starter collars of all the dogs in his group after they grew out of them. He looked at Harley, probably for the first time she'd of ever seen, he had softened his face, it looked almost fatherly. "Harley, come with me, I want to show you something." he said, using his 'this is very importent' voice. "Please." he said, softening his voice.

Kira and Josh both stood at a distance as they both grieved for Buster. Kira felt like she was in the verge of tears while Josh just stared blankly into space. Buster was his best friend, and he didn't know what he would do without him. Kira suddenly turned away as she started sobbing, not wanting anyone, no even Josh, to see her tears. Josh just turned to look at her for only a few seconds before sighed heavily and turning back towards Buster's grave.

I'm really going to miss you buddy. I just hope that you knew what you were doing...

Lola walked down the lonely streets of the city. She had finally found a place to get some food and started to eat it was right by the police station. She looked up and saw that there were a lot of animals and people there. To her is seemed like a death had happened. But she didn't go over she layed underneath a dumster. As the rain fell on her noise only.

Sarge nodded. "Follow me." he said. He lead her over to another grave, his limp from his hind leg obvious. This grave was old, for a dog at least. "Kid...I know how you feel." he said. he dusted off the grave marker, it said Leon. "Four years ago..." he said, looking down. "Me and my partner, Leon, where on a raid of a dog fighting ring." he said. "We tried to chase down the owner in an ally but something happened we never saw coming." he said, his voice cracking. "My partner jumpped at the low life but the man turned with a knife." he said. "The knife went deep into Leon's gut, tore him up real bad...the vet had to put him to sleep on the scene..." he said, tears starting in his eyes, very likely for the first time Harley would've ever seen. "I saw the whole thing...just like you did." he muttered. "The guy got life but he took Leon's...me and Leon...we were as close as you and Buster...like brothers...so I know how you feel...its like watching half of you die and be buried, isn't it?" he asked her, still looking at Leon's grave as a tear fell from his eye.

"Life isn't cruel, living beings are...sometimes." said Sarge. "Life is what you make it." he said. "You want to know the truth, I wish I'd realized that earlier...I let my loss make me a bitter old dog." he said. "Don't let that happen to you." he said. "Promise me you won't end up like me because of this." he said, in his stern voice. "Buster wouldn't want that...he'd want you to live life to its fullest." he said. "Buster was a good dog...one of the best I've ever worked with." he said. "And so are you but being cold and bitter isn't what he'd want, he'd want you to remember him as he was and be who you were when he knew you." he said. "Trust this old dog, you don't get old without learning a few things." he said. "And I've learned a lot, if you let this drag you down, the sadness you feel now will stick to you like stink on a skunked dog." he said. "But be how you've always been and you'll come out better than ever." he said. "Now PROMISE me you won't let this make you bitter, Harley."

Personality: He is extremely stubborn and is true to his words and his police work. He is hard to make friends with but when you do you are friends with him for life. He has a hard and uncomfortable time when it comes to showing his personal emotions, so he hides behind a tough exterior. Troy hates mistakes. He has authority over regular K9 units but doesn't boss hardly anyone around and he doesn't boss around Harley.
History: Troy was a important government K9 that tracked down all sorts of criminals, like criminal masterminds and terrorists. One day, the worst day of his life, Troy and his partner was tracking down a criminal mastermind. When Troy and his partner both in love and government work tracked the worst criminal mastermind in America, the criminal mastermind wheeled about when his mate was about to pounce on him and they both were going to take him down she was shot and then he shot Troy. When the criminal mastermind was about to shoot Troy, his mate jumped on him and she got shot and got killed by the bullet that pierced not only her heart but Troy's as well. Troy was never the same again. Troy managed to get away. Then Troy heard that the criminal mastermind ordered someone to go pick something up. Troy was following that criminal to where he shot Buster. Troy seen the whole thing. And he ran for it neglecting his duties because he remembered how his mate died to save him. He is now a very respected member in the police station and now he is in Harley's squad by force but he does solo missions. He has power in the police force that he used to get onto Harley's trio. In other words he is now Harley's third partner. In some situations you can have three partners. Troy is so glad for this. Nobody except him knows that he is Harley's third partner except a few dogs that he has told.

History: Not much known on him just that he is the criminal mastermind who planned the other criminal who killed Buster to steal something. He killed Specialty unit K9 Troy's mate. He has been gathering things to make a super weapon. He must be stopped at all costs.

It has been raining ever since that dreadful day that left one dog partner less.
Troy was so sad even the rain looked marry er than he was. Troy was laying down where his mate was baried at. He cared what was happening on the other side of the police station. He told himself and his dead mate "I have failed once again. Just like the first time when I lost you. If I didn't hesitate then that one dog would still be alive. What did you ever see in me? I am the reason that you are dead and I can't see how I can forgive myself either. I am just a complete wreck without you" Then Troy just laid there all alone looking very miserable and feeling worse.

Lola crept a little over to the others. She didn't know who to go to. Then she saw Troy who looked sad and lonely. Excuse me sure. But she wasn't sure if he was nice. But she had to do it. "Hello!" She said approuching him from beside.

Troy sat up because he heard a dog approaching him. He then looked about and seen Lola talking to him. "Hi. My name is Troy. What is your name? Today is not a good day for me. Thanks for coming over and giving me some company." Troy then walked in a circle around Lola and then sat down where he was laying down earlier.

Lola smiled when he came up to her and said a nice hello. Then when he circled her she felt uncomfortable for a moment. "Why did you just circle me." She said looking at him then at the grave that he was just laying at. "Also why is it a bad day." She asked.

"Today is a bad day because of what happened yesterday and if you haven't heard the girl that is at the other grave has just lost her partner. It is all my falt though. I was in a secret government task and I failed for a second time. My first is why this grave is hear. This is my dead mate's grave. We were partners in the government. We were in a very top secret task and she got killed all because of me. And I am feeling awful. I circled you because I needed to study you. It is a government trained dog thing. You wouldn't understand. I am not apart of the government anymore though because of yesterday's screw up. I am now apart of this police station's force now. I am specialty unit K9 Troy at your service mam." Troy said then got up and saluted her.
