"Oh, Hey, kid," Balto said. "What's up?" He looked around, seeing that his mate Jenna had also joined them. "Hello love," He said to her. "How are you this fine day?"
Aniu looked at Covan, and his flirty smile. "Balto's not here yet," was all she said.
"Did you tell him where to meet you?" Koka asked.
Then Aniu realized. She had not.

Roso hung his tail "Never mind" he sighed,His father never noticed him.Kodi was on a sled team,Aleu was leading a wolf pack,Even frickin' Dingo was making something of himself.Roso was way over shadowed by his siblings. ((no muse))

Covan smiled."You didn't tell him?Okay,if you want,I can go and inform him.Or you want to do it by yourself,sweet...I-I mean,Aniu."he made a shyly looking smile.

Balto looked at Jenna. "I think Marro would be okay if I told you," He said, "But you'd better ask her. Or, maybe she'd like to tell you herself." He turned to Roso. "Is something wrong, son?" He asked. He walked in a small circle. "Have any of you seen Aniu or her pack or something?" He asked to anyone who was listening.
Aniu decided to let him go. "If it means that much to you," She said, "you can go find him. And tell him to meet me by the big tree near the lake." She sighed. "Have fun," She said sarcastically. Then she turned and trotted off toward the lake, hoping that Covan wouldn't get lost in town on his way to find Balto.

"Nothing dad" muttered Roso,How was he supposed to explain that his own father never payed any attention to him.He walked away and sat down upset, "Why does he never get it?" he whispered knowing full well his dad proably wouldn't come after him now he'd said nothing was wrong.

Jenna walked up to Marro and nuzzled her."Oh,poor Marro.I'm really sorry for your loss."she caringly licked Marro's ear.
Covan almost jumped into the air from happyness."Thanks,Aniu.I'll find him.See you near the lake."he said and trotted away.Town was big,and he was hoping that he will become lost.He started to walk around,looking at every spot in the town,calling Balto's name.Finally he reached one big house.Doors were open,so he walked in.There he found a lot of dogs talking,and Balto with them.He shyly said"Sorry for interrupting,but I am here to talk with Balto.I am wolf from Aniu's pack.She wanted me to talk with you.Come,Balto."he said and walked out,waiting for Balto to come.

Roso had followed Covan and heard the name of his grandmother,He listened for his fathers response with interest. He wobbled slightly on his three legs but managed to steady himself after a while.

"Yeah, I was going to meet her," Balto said. "But she never told me where to go. Um, what's your name again? And where did Aniu want to meet me?"
Aniu paced back and forth. Koka sat next to her. "Koka, do you think they are?" She asked. When no reply came from Covan, Aniu walked down to the lake. "Tell me when they return. Like, with a howl or something. I'm hungry. Want a fish or something?" She headed toward the lake.

"Ohhh," Balto said. "I remember now!" He turned and followed Covan toward the lake. He wanted to start a converstion with Covan, but had no idea what to say. "Umm," He started. "How long have you been in Aniu's pack?" He asked. "As soon as the words were out of his mouth he realized the stupidity of them. He laid his ears back, embarassed.
