So thus, its far less trouble to stop and help than risk that, despite the fact its the right thing to do and what you should do. I most certainly would stop, I wouldn't run and leave someone, Tibb, you don't know me, if you knew me, you'd know I'm a kindhearted person, I couldn't bear the thought of leaving some hurt on the road after accdently hitting them. And its not human nature, yes, fear is, but there is no set 'human nature' to every single person, everyone is diffrent.

You don't know how you would act at all firstly, so don't even try to give me that. MAYBE you would do the 'right thing', but unless you are ACTUALLY in that situation YOU DO NOT KNOW THAT. But still, you fail to look at it from both sides. Hmm. Guess closedmindedness is human nature too.

I bet she actually feels worse than you or your family do about it. Who's the one that has to live with what she did every day? She is. Who's the one that has to think about how she might have ruined some kid's life? She is. Who's the one that might have her license taken away for it? She is.
Think about how the other person feels and stop thinking about yourself and then I might feel sorry for you. (:

As to Ghost-Unit, stop picking at everything I say. I could care less what you have to say - ever. Do us both a favor and stop while you are behind. Got it? Mkay.

I'm not being closeminded, despite what you may think, I have thought about it and its come down to this, if she feels bad about it, why doesn't she just get the hosbital he was taken to from the news or newspaper, which its likely in, and go visit him in the hosbital and apologize? Or call and do so? Or do anything that makes it feel like she's sorry? I can understand she may feel bad but she's not doing anything to help the boy or family she ran over. I'm not thinking about myself, my brother is laying in a hosbital bed with four fractures in his skull, a broken wrist, and unable to remember half his life, sense you asked me what I'd do if I was in her shoes, what would YOU do if you were in mine? Can you honestly say you wouldn't be mad at this woman for what she's done? I'll admit it, I may have fled but I certainly wouldn't have come back claiming to be a innocent bystander who was passing by and saw the accdent (she really did said that, that's one of the reasons I'm mad at her), if I came back, I'd apologize and take responsability, or if I didn't come back then, I'd have visited him in the hosbital and apologized. But as I said, I doubt I'd run anyway. You can't judge emotions like guilt and anger by 'human nature', because there is always an exception to every rule psychologists come up with, name anyone and I could find an exception to it. Everyone's personilty has to do with how they'll react, and that's how I'm confedent my personilty would have me react because I have a caring compasionent personality.

Sorry if any of that seemed like a flame, I was intending to be as respectful as possible but you're not being very respectful of me by saying you'd feel sorry for me if I'd look at it from her point of view or that I'm closeminded, normally I'd take that as constructive critism but with the circomstances, it seems rude. And, as Ghost Unit just said, I never ASK you to feel sorry for me or my family, all I asked if for prayer for my injured brother, and, though it seems harsh, you are being hypocritical by saying we don't know you and then trying to assume stuff about people you don't know. So if any of that seems disrespectful you, if so, its because I'm upset for what's happened to my brother.

Likewise, thanks for defending me Ghost Unit, I'm glad you understand what I'm going through. That's the point I'm trying to make to you Tibb, you say I should see things from this woman's point of view but you're not thinking about what I'm going through, as I said, before assuming something about me,take your own advice and think about this from my perpective.

Uk, thanks, I honestly feel sorry for your loss, and I can't imagine what you must of felt, at least I've still got my brother, so I consider myself lucky. *Hugs* Thanks for your prayers. I'm sorry for my lengthy response to Tibb, I just had to get that off my chest and defend myself but I hope I did it in a respectful manner, considering you're a mod, I'm sorry if I did make it a flame in ANY way, I'm sure you can understand how I feel right now and how that may have effected my response.

Ghost Unit needs to stay out of business that isn't his and be a good little boy. (:

Now, What would I do you ask? I'm actually pretty sure I would have "fled the scene" as it's so often called. Hitting some kid on a bike? Yeah, pretty bad luck there. Knowing how my mind works, I don't even think I would have come back as an "innocent by-stander" either. I really don't blame this lady for not wanting to come to the hospital, either. In a way she's probably unwelcome and she knows that. Really, I probably wouldn't go. Maybe send a card or something little after a while, but defiantly not right away. People hold grudges for way to long. x] I have an extremely caring and empathetic personality too (though many people here would say otherwise because they don't deserve that side - ah the wonders of an also vindictive personality :]), but I'm pretty sure that's a basis of how I'd react. Though unless I'm ever in that situation, I will never know 100% for sure no matter what I tell myself. Basically, don't go writting off that women as an uncaring beotch. There might have been outside forces as well - family emergency for example. I've heard about things like that all the time.

Actually, I think it was slightly good for you TO have to go on about that. Showing some form of anger usually does good. (: Trust me on that if nothing else - if you have something you can actually push some amount of anger towards, it usually makes you feel better.

Tibb, that is enough. There is no need to further aggrovate the subject; this topic is for prayers to Godzillawolf's brother; not for petty arguments like these.

You are being unfair toward Godzillawolf and you are bring this topic away from what is was meant to be like. If it continues, I will make arrangements with Togo to have you banned from the forums and your access to the banning page revoked (either temporary or permanently).

Your behaviour here is unacceptable, and I am disappointed to see that you do not realize this yourself. Ghost-Wolf is entitled to posting what he thinks about what you say and pick out whichever parts of your posts he like, simply because that you are posting on a public forum where everyone can read your posts, thus making everything you say "their business" if they choose to reply to it. You can never demand that people don't reply to you when you're making posts in an open forum.

Also, if I deem it necessary, I will have this topic locked and instead instruct those that wish to post here to send their posts to me in a PM so that I can post those for them. But I would rather not want to see that happen.

Unlike UK, who tries to be nice to you because of your friendship thus not taking such a direct approach as I am now, I (although I value the friendship we have - and potentially had before this incident) am not that nice when I moderate. This is your one and final warning, and I will lock your posts so that you cannot alter or delete them (to use as proof when I speak with Togo).

That's final.

On an ending note, I don't care what your reasons were, what caused you to say what you've posted above, or whatever else there was. "I did it because..." is NOT a valid argument.

Thanks to those that have defended and offered their prayers. Jersey, I'm probably going to edit the original post now but the nurse gave us a wrong fact, it wasn't a motorcycle, it was a bicycle he was on when this woman ran him over. He hadn't even gotten on his bicycle full yet. I do, however, believe to a point, the bicycle saved his life by taking the brunt of the impact. Thanks for your compassion though.

After this, I will no longer reply to Tibb, the only thing I will say, is if it was a family emergecy for the hit and run, she wouldn't have returned to the crime scene. That's all, gotta go.

I'm not the most religious guy, but I'll still send a prayer for your brother anyways. I hope he gets well soon.

Good news, my brother was released from the hosbital, he's still got amnsia but he's doing better. I'd still like you to keep praying the amnisa goes away and his skull heals fine. Me and my family greatfully apprciate your prayers and support.

Good news, I just found out that the amnisia left, I was the last person to learn things you know? But he still needs prayer that he'll heal right.

And the woman, thanks to her having good insurence, has to pay for medical bills, pain and suffering, lawyer costs, and loss of work pay. Plus, she commited a falony hit-and-run so its likely she'll be facing jail time. I also found out exactly how it happened. She was parked behind another car between her and my brother. She got impatiant and passed, running my brother over. She fled the scene and then came back. She basically said to the cops 'oh that poor man, what happened to him?' and my brother's friend as well as the person who called the cops identified her. So that's basically acting like a 'innocent bystander', when she left, he was bleeding from his nose and mouth. Does anyone know if that would count as a diffrent crime? The returning to the scene of the crime and lieing about being the one who commited it?
