Kirby jsut sort of laughed at himself before looking up to see Mia. "I know," he replied. "But can't a friend just help him out a little? I mean, come on! This is Kodi's brother we're taking about. Now, if I can't be nice to a teammate's familiy member, then who will?"

"Good point!" Luke stated, yawning as he started to stretch himself out more. "But still..."

Dingo sighed heavily, but looked up to see the hopeful faces of dogs from his own team, and dogs from his brothers mail team. "Guys, I sure hope your right. If we lose, were dead meat." The red and white husky said, still worried and concerned about his sake. If he lost, who would want him?

"Lighten up Dingo, I mean if you guys lose, which I doubt you wil, its not like they'l fire you." Dusty said, confident about Dingo. She had a crush on Kodi, and Dingo was Kodi vrothers, so of course she had to be nice.

Samina nodded in agrrement with Dusty. "I sure hope we win.

MEANWHILE

Kimba layed down on a sleeping bag in a tent, where the oppsing team stayed.

In the tent with Kimba, Sara just started pacing back and forth, feeling like a very nervous wreck. She wants to play her part, but half the time, she always screws up somehow and the team blames it all on her. But not this time... This year, she has worked to hard to be at the bottom once again. She's a swing dog, and that's how it's gong to be.

But every now and then, she casts glances at Kimba, wondering how the heck he can be so lazy at a time like this....

Sara just sort of glared back at Jamie before resuming her pacing. "I know I souldn't be as worried," he said half to herself. "But...there's just something about the other teams...especially Dingo's team. I have the strangest feeling in my gut, and I just know it!"

Luke just sighed and shook his head. "They're right," he added. "Plus, you've got nothing to fear, because we're all here to make sure that we do win. But in the meantime, just relax. You can shudder about it before the race." He then yawned loudly and smacked his lips together before saying, "We better get some rest... Well, I need to anyway." And with that, he sighed with content and lowered his head, closing his eyes and letting even more peacful thoughts come to him.

PAUSED for Tadie

Dingo looked around at all the dogs trying to give him hope. "Well, I hope your right guys. The race is really soon... and tomorrow me and my team will ahve a practice. I just ho-pe we're ready." The red ad white husky said. He was still worried, and I doubt anyone could change how he felt.

Dusty looked to Kodi, as he incouraged his brother. When he said "He's the fastest dog in Nome!" Dusty thought in her head And your the dog you has the fastest heart. Dusty still continued to stare at Kodi, and hoped no one saw her. She was mezmorized by the wolf-dog.

Samina was a bit hyper at the moment. She tryed to calm down. She didnt share the worry with Dingo. Infact, Samina was quite sure they would win. But that other team was so much more trained... maybe they would lose. If Samina's team won, it would be a dream come true to her.

Kimba heard Sara and Jamie's confersation. At the sound of the two females voices, he rised up from the sleeping bag, walking over to a small bowl of water. The pure qhite husky was thirsty. He knew the lead dog of the rival team was related to Balto, which could be abd for the fate of he and his team.
