I feel awkward. I got SoulSilver on the day it came out and have beaten the Champion pretty much in the space of exactly a week. Kanto badges ahoy!

I am running a Pokemon VG Tournament at my school and are trying to ban overpowered pokemon, does anyone here know of any?

Arceus, Sinnoh psychic trio, Darkrai, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Garchomp, Giratina, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Lati@s, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Heatran, Mew, Mewtwo, Shaymin-S, Manaphy, Wobuffet, Wynaut, Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Suicune, Entei, Raikou. I left the Regis/Celebi/Jirachi/Shaymin out because they're a bit weak compared to the others. And yes, Wobby and Garchomp are definitely too overpowered.

Also, if you're going to use Smogon rules, don't stick to all of them, they're meant for the 6 party Shoddy Battle metagame, an emulated version.

Thanks and one other thing, is it bad to have stats above 50 when a pokemon hits lvl 26

You should only worry about them if you are battling competitively, and when your pokemon are at Lv 100. On a semi-related topic, has anyone here heard about the next pokemon games coming out; Pokemon Black and White Versions?
