I have nothing more sophisticated than Paint...which is just as well because I can hardly draw. Every now and again I'll get some stroke of brilliance and sketch something that's actually kinda good (by my standards, anyway), but I can't be counted on to do that.

I often use Photoshop Elements 3.0, but I've recently been using a program called Corel Painter Essentials 2 to do some of my drawings on. I do occasionally use Paint, but that's only when I'm really desperate .

I don't use any of those... I use Corel painter IX which is cheaper in price. I did a trial version for photoshop, and I hated it. Absolutely hard thing to use. I know most people like PS, but I can't stand that program... everything is hidden and it takes hours just to find small things... everything's hidden away. In painter, they're all right there, in front, and in very obvious places ;D The only thing I liked about PS was the grass brush... and the darkener brush. CPainter has grass brush and darkener, too, but PS's looks more realistic. Other then that, I really dislike the program... I'm staying with my painter.

*smacks self for reply to an old post* ah well, this one can't hurt XD Kodiwolf-BF-RMW wrote: I don't use any of those... I use Corel painter IX which is cheaper in price. If one knows how to use PS, it's an amazing program. I know my way around it very well, having taken a couple of classes on it (However, there is still a lot left for me to learn). CS2/3 can be really overwhelming at first glance, so Adobe also has PS Elements, which is much easier to use. I don't care much for Elements, having had my training in CS2 before I even had heard of Elements, but it's the one I'd recommend to those unfamiliar with CS2. So if you ever get the chance to try Elements or take a class on Photoshop, go for it!

Anyways as an add I wanna say that it doesn`t matter what tools you have. The person who uses them is the important.

This has already been mentioned... agwolfcp wrote: what's with the recent trend of digging up old posts? I mean, come on- this thing is over a year and a half old but if one thinks about it, this is an ok post to dig up. Like Deni said, people can still talk about what they have, and it's better than just starting up a whole new thread.
