Alaska pranced into the kitchen, she plucked a strawberry from a bowl that was placed on the counter.Her eyes were locked on the strawberry in her hand, she could hear Blair and Nova's conversation, she tried not to make her obvious.The wind soon picked up from the opened window, her hair blew past her face but it oddly looked like it was ment to be styled that way, she blushed and removed it from its wild posture.Soon she heard a bark from upstairs, her huskie Kiba hadn't been let out yet.She ranupstairs, someone could easily resemble her as a gazelle by the way she ran with grace.Kiba was pawing at the door franticly "I'm coiming boy..." She giggled, as she opened the door he burst out under her legs, but of course he was too tall and brought her along downstairs.She soon slid off, skidding across the wood floor and infront of Nova "H-H-H..Hi.." She blushed intensly "Erm...Um..sorry." She brushed herself up as she stood.

"Luna!" Troy portested. "Of all the stubborn-" He groaned, turned around, and started bck towards town. If Luna wanted to be difficult, she could be. Besides, Carrie would make her relax a bit once she saw how mucht rouble she was having walking. Once he was already a few blocks fomr the house, he paused. Maybe he should go back and check on her. Just as he was about ot turn around, he saw Cassie and stopped. Was she all right? She seemed pretty upset... "Uh, exscuse me..." He cleare dhis throat.

Newt nodded. "You couldn't get rid of us if you wanted to!"

Lucy laughed. "Good to know..."

Carrie walked to Luna, seeing her stumble in. "are you all right?" she asked curiously.

"Shhh," Garret said, bringing his right hand to her hair. "It won't be long until you get out of this place too. You don't have to be older for that to happen. And the less you think about it the more quickly it'll go by." He sighed and pulled her back slightly too look her straight in the eyes. "Besides, I still have seven whole months before I go, and I plan to make the most of it."

Cassie's head shot up from the crook in her arms as she heard someone talking directly to her. She looked at him with wide, glassy eyes, from her spot on the ground. She cleared her throat, trying to make sound come out of her mouth. She hadn't spoke in a long time. "Yes?" Her voice cracked, but it could have been worse. At least she only sounded hoarse instead of dying.

"Hey, you should be happy," Matt said, bumpig her shoulder teasingly. "We're the best friends you could ever hope of having."

Luna was leaning against the door for support. She tried not to groan when her adopted mother came in. She just wanted to be alone. She gave Carrie a bright, but very fake smile. "Just fine. Nothing to worry about." She tried to make a run for the steps, but somewhere duing her brisk walk, she swayed and put a hand to the nearest wall to catch herself.

Troy paused. This wasn't his buisness but... her scent wasn't the same as an ordinary human. Was she a werewolf? "Are you all right?" He knelt by her. "Why are you alone? I mean, you don't have to tell me... It's probably weird talking to a stranger but..." He cleared his throat and held out his hand. "I'm Troy."

Newt nodded hten laughed. "We're modest too!" He rolled his eyes and grinned at his friends before standing and walked across the room to the calender. "when's the next full moon anyway?"

Lucy shrugged. "Sometime this month?" She grinned. "I dunno." The grin slowly faded. "Ooh... I hope it isn't one of those moons that comes out during the day. We're in school now..." Surpressing a small shudder at teh idea of what disaster would occur if anyone saw them phase, she continued to lean against the wall and said, "Hopefully it's a while away."

Carrie pointed at the living room couch. "Sit down and rest. That is certaintly not all right. I'll get you some ice once you settle down, Luna." Her maternal instincts were taking over and she wasn't about to let Luna fall down a flight of stairs.

Troy paused and then cleared his throat again. "Uh-hu... Hey, listen. You should come back to my place. My foster mom can get some food into you." She was extremely thin, which made him think there was definatly cause for action. "Come on. Surely, you can't turn that down. I can make food, even though I might over cook it... Most likely under cook it..." He smiled kindly, trying not to look like he was just helping someone who looked like the under dog. He wanted her to feel like she could trust him, even if they just met. She still had the smell of a werewolf. But he wouldn't ask about that yet. How odd would that sound?

"For you," Lucy said. "You guys are already crazy. Teh instincts make me feel like I have no control." She shivered. "But it's not that bad, I guess. I mean, it's kinda weird and hard to control but not bad."

Newt grinned. "You can be crazy too, ya know," he said teaasingly. "I'm actually excited. I hope we get out of class."

Carie sighed. "Here. Wait right there." She alked to the kitchen, opened the freezer and pulled out ice. She put it in a ziplock bag and took it back to Luna, offering it to her. "here you go."
