OOC: Gosh I was just jokin' around.

I would post but i have no muse for the situation im in. Balto is just hanging there and Steele's got the choice to end his life now, or drag it out and prolonge it to make Balto's suffering worse instead of a horrible fall to an instant death.

OOC:I'll tell Steele to get on with it and make up his mind.

Steele laughed and sat down "You know,I might just let you hang there for a while" he snickered.He smiled icily at Balto "Oh sorry,youre giving me the silent treatment arent you" he teased "Why dont you howl for your little buddies?Oh wait they cant help you now" he laughed.He was enjoying making Balto suffer.

The situation seemed helpless. And it was. He was entirely on his own with no one around to aid him. Just Steele, and the rocky bottom of the cliff he now clung onto for all he was worth.
It wasn't just his life he was afaid for. Death wasn't something he'd ever feared. But he'd taken comfort in knowing that this dog, this Steele, was gone from their lives. But here he was, standing realer than anything else. Now that he was back, he didn't wanna go this way. He had to survive to protect Jenna. He couldn't even imagine what Steele would do to her if he got to her.

"Steele" Balto panted. "You don't want to do this..."

It was entirely wrong. It was clearly obvious that this was exactly what Steele wanted to do. He could see it in those cold blue eyes of his. He was trying to buy some time though by keeping him talking. Maybe there was some help out there that someone was looking for him.
In his heart he knew that wasn't true. But it made him ease a bit to think it.

Steele looked at Balto,His cold blue eyes met Baltos warm brown ones.For a second Steele looked like he was about to change his mind but then, "No wolfdog,this is excactly what I want to do" he sneered.He looked at Balto again "You know,I thought when I killed you it would be in that fight.Remember wolf dog?" he said viscously "You ruined my life that day,Now Im going to end yours" he said,an evil smirk came over his face "And noone will ever know what happened" he gloted

Kodi narrowed his eyes and jumped infront of his mother so that she could no longer continue running. "Mom, do you know where dad is?"

OOC: Sorry, but I'm just trying to keep this rolling, and Faye hasn't replied yet.

Steele growled,He Hit balto across the face with his paw."You dont get it wolfdog!I've thought this out" he growled "I've had three years to think this out!I know what I'm doing" he snarled.Then he smiled and lowered his head to BAlto's level "What are your pups gonna do now?Cry cause daddys not there for them" he mocked,But in reality he was slightly out of his element.Balto was about to die at his paws,But he was trying to prove Steele wrong.This wasn't what Steele expected!

Balto only just managed to hang onto the cliff face as Steele's paw slapped him hard across the face. It stung, but the adrenaline rushing through his veins helped numb the pain and keep him hanging on. He glared at Steele, hating him for everything he'd done to he and his family. But, strangely, he felt sorry for the guy too. He was trying to hard to make something that wouldn't ever happen....happen.

"Steele, i do not care what you do to me. You will never get Jenna."

His voice seethed through his teeth expressing every bit of his anger.

Steele paced his breath made clouds of steam against the cold air,He stared at his paws.Whatever Steele was it wasn't a killer,He hated Balto more than anything.But he couldn't kill him, He looked at the cliff where Balto was hanging again,As much as he hated it the half breed was right.He never would get to Jenna.

``What if he's hurt,... what if a bear got to him.. what if...``She shook her head trying to sway the endless thoughts away. A gentle growl came to her lips as she shut her eyes. The rapid thoughts abruptly stopped as a warm lump pf fur rushed past her. she opened her eyes to see a red frame block her path. She looked up to meet Kodiak's warm eyes.

"Mom, do you know where dad is?"


She looked past him to the boat, she knew Balto must not of been in there, were she wished. "i.. I dont know... but.. i have a feeling.. hes.. in terrible trouble.." Her voice was low as she looked around, seeing Kaltag and looked back to Kodi "We have to find him!" her voice grew to an alarming tone.

OOC: FAYE! I been missin ya!

Kodi stepped calmly infront of his mother. "Look, mom, we gotta find him, but there is no use in panicing. We'll all go looking for him soon." Kodi lowered his ears, not so quite sure what to do next. He sniffed around, trying to track his father.
