Senna paused, trying to catch her breath. She smiled at Ricker, nodding her head slightly. "Yeah......yeah I'm good so far." Senna paused again, catching up with the speed of her mate. "What about you?" she asked, trying to raise her voice over the pounding footsteps of the other dogs.

Karana's tongue was flying from the side of her head. As her tail also flew madly behind her, she ignored everything around her, trying to match the feet of her partners. Karana gave a small whimper as she tripped over herself. She sped up, knocking into Tundra, growling as if it was Tundra's fault.

((Ohh, I ahve both Swing Dogs, that will be good.))

Ash had a smirk on ehr face as she ran at the beat of thunder, and a pace of a storm. She tuggged at the harnesss that she was hook to, staying in the pace with the team. She was right behind her lead dog, Ricker, amking her a 1st swing dog. Her front paw got tangled with Ricker's back paw, making her stop. She soon got it out,a dn kept on running. Her ears blew back in the wind.

"I'm Fine..." Ricker said to his mate, then felt a paw hit him. "Ouch!" Ricker whimpered when he had gotten his paw tangled up with Ash's paw. He could hear Karana whimpering behind him. "Stop fooling around!" He demanded, "Quit whinning and keep running!" He rolled his eyes, and looked ahead of his team. Another team had taken a shortcut, and were ahead of them. 'Greeeaaat!' He tought sarcastically. 'We loose...Again!'. He growled, then huffed all his breath out from his lungs. He hated loosing, and couldn't stand how his team never even tried to win.

Kay could see her crush smiling at her for no reason. "What are you smiling about?" She giggled, then blushed. She loved being in the back. She thought it made her able to daydream without being tugged by Ricker's speed and willing to win. "He's really wanting to win this time!" She yelled to Danny over the pounding of paws. It sounded like thunder rolling within the clouds.

"Just be yourself...And you might be able to run in front, or at least a swing dog." Kay suggested, then looked at Danny. She smiled at his perfection, or at least, what she thought was perfect.

Karana stopped her whimpers at the leader's command. She looked at the team beside them, panting. Karana began focusing, her head bobbing back and forth with the speed of the team. "We're going to win!" she whispered to herself absentmindedly.

Senna glanced to her right, sighing inside of her. She knew they'd probably loose again, but Senna didn't want the pack to feel that way. "Come on everyone! Don't give up now!" she tried encouraging, shooting a quick smile at Ricker. Senna loved the way he took control of everyone in a bold way. She felt very lucky to be the great leader's mate. As snowflakes began falling, bigger and bigger, Senna shook them off and tried to focuse more.

Bic: Ricker could see his mate's face in the back of his eye. He tugged his leather harness toward Senna, and nuzzled her neck, then focused on his path. The team was closer to the other team. He veered away from Senna, and opened his mouth to let his tongue hang. "Come on! Come on!" He yelled, determined to win. "We can't loose this year!" He said dissapointed. He opened his eyes even harder, then pulled as hard as his body could. His legs started to give out. 'Don't quit on me now! Please!?' He thought to himself, then looked to the grey sky, and preyed to win.

Ash closed her brown eyes for a momment, forcing ehr ti soon open ehr eyes again once more. She cloud see the finish line ahead of her, not far from where her team was- but she also heard barking ywords the town, probably meaning the other team had already gotten there. Still, if thye lost, it might be better if they get there sooner, so they could at least get the sadnss overwith..

Senna's mouth opened in a quizzical way, whether they'd make it or not. She glanced at her mate, seeing him struggle slightly. She blinked a few times, shaking the ice off her eyelashes. Senna gave a sneeze as snow landed on her nose. As they were nearing the finish line, she hoped they, at least, weren't the last team to cross it.

Ricker ran harder than he ever had. He could see the team up ahead again. 'There's no chance...' He thought dissapointed, then saw them cross the red banner that read the words "finish". "Ugh!" He grunted, then could hear another team speeding up behind them. "Speed up, everyone!" He demanded, then felt one of his legs go numb, then collapse. He fell over his foot, and tumbled to the snowy ground. He let out a high pitched yelp, and landed on his back, snow covering his body. The team's harnesses looked like a pile of spaghetti on the ground. He got up, and shook all the snow off his long, thick coat, and gave his mate a depressed look.

Layla ran behind Ash, her best friend with all her might. She loved the feeling of running. The wind in her coat, the snow hitting her legs, the thunder of their paws on the ground. She noticed the team ahead that won, and sighed. She closed her eyes, and next she knew, she could her another team. She looked back, and tripped over Ash, who was also turmbling on the ground.

Kay hit a limb as the team fell to the ground. She flipped over the limb, and landed on her side. "Oof!" She grunted when she landed. She got up, and shook the snow off her coat just like Ricker, than sighed. She looked at the grey sky, and could feel something cold land on her nose. It was snowing.
