Please don't compare Jade's death to Diana's.
Princess Diana was a VERY popular woman and did an awful lot to help other people in her time alive and she died in a horrible car accident.
Jade was a mouthy woman who just happened to become popular on a reality TV show FOR her big mouth and then insulted other people on national TV and died from cancer.

Two very different people. Two very different deaths.

Plus, Diana's death had the entire country mourning. Jade's only about half I imagine and nowhere near the scale of Diana's and the only reason her death was so public was because she told the tabloids about it to get MORE publicity, MORE attention and it worked.

Jade is NO Princess Diana and it's an insult to Princess Diana's memory to compare her to Jade.

You can compare it, this is THE biggest National mourn SINCE Diana, not even the Queen's mother got this. Although, she did nothing, in reality, she's saved many many people, people are just too ignorant to realise.

Sorry to disillusion you but the ONLY reason Jade Goody got the response she did was because she marketed her own death. As soon as she discovered she had cancer - she told the tabloids.
Which is not noble in any way, shape or form. LOTS of celebrities have gotten cancer AND died from it but because they had more self-respect they kept it to themselves and tried to get better instead, whether it was terminal or not.

Jade Goody is just ONE out of thousands of people that die of cervical cancer every, single year but they will get NOTHING because they haven't been on TV and don't tell the tabloids as soon as they get sick.

The reason she instantly told the tabloids, is because she was on the Indian version of Big Brother, when THEY told her she had cervical cancer.
